Plenium Builders is seeking a Project Engineer (1–3 years’ experience) to support the delivery of commercial construction projects. This role is part of the core project team and works closely with the Project Manager and Superintendent on document control, coordination, quality control, and project execution.
This position is well-suited for someone who wants broad exposure to the full construction lifecycle and who values accuracy, accountability, and clear communication.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Process submittals
- Project Documentation & Coordination
- Manage submittals, RFIs, change documentation, and logs
- Maintain contract documents and current drawing sets
- Prepare, distribute, and track meeting agendas and minutes
- Support permitting, procurement, and closeout documentation
SCHEDULE & PROCUREMENT SUPPORT
- Assist with submittal and procurement schedules
- Track long-lead items and report issues to PM/Superintendent
- Support weekly schedule updates and project reporting
FIELD & QUALITY SUPPORT
- Assist Superintendents with inspections, quality control, and compliance
- Participate in safety meetings and QA/QC processes
- Document existing conditions, progress photos, and field activities
- Run subcontractor meetings when directed
SYSTEMS & TOOLS
- Maintain project records in Procore
- Utilize Bluebeam and Microsoft Office tools for documentation and reporting
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
- Associate degree (minimum); technical degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture preferred
- 0.5–3 years of construction management experience (internship experience acceptable)
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to read and understand construction documents
- Reliable transportation and ability to work on site
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities
