Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Construction / Landscape Project Manager to lead and oversee constuction and landscape projects from inception to completion. In this role, you will coordinate all phases of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with client plans and specs. You will coordinate crews, subcontractors, vendors, materials, and schedules. Your expertise in construction management, project scheduling, and team leadership will drive project success while maintaining strict adherence to safety regulations and quality standards. Duties

• Lead the planning, execution, and closing of construction and landscape projects, ensuring alignment with project goals and client expectations
• Develop detailed project schedules to monitor progress and adjust timelines proactively
• Assist with estimating tasks related to existing and or upcoming projects.
• Assist with improving construction processes, production efficiency, and overall project profitability.
• Order and coordinate delivery of plants, irrigation materials, hardscape materials, soil, equipment, and other job materials.
• Identify and resolve construction issues, scheduling conflicts, and material or labor challenges.
• Conduct project walk-throughs, punch lists, and final inspections.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to review construction plans, schematics, and specs for accuracy and feasibility
• Manage project budgets by tracking costs meticulously, preparing estimates, and implementing cost control measures.
• Oversee construction site activities to ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, environmental regulations, and contractual obligations
• Lead project teams by assigning tasks, supervising work crews, managing subcontractors, and fostering effective communication across all stakeholders
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor quality control, safety compliance, and progress against the construction schedule
• Manage contracts and change orders efficiently while maintaining clear documentation for all project activities
• Ensure all construction plans are followed accurately while managing project risks proactively to prevent delays or cost overruns

Requirements

• Proven experience managing large-scale construction or landscape infrastructure projects with a strong understanding construction practices and principles.
• Extensive knowledge of construction regulations, safety standards, and environmental compliance requirements
• Skilled in reading construction plans and specs with attention to detail
• Strong background in construction estimating, budget management, and cost control techniques
• Experience with estimating and project management software.
• Ability to work outdoors and visit active construction sites regularly.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities
• Excellent communication skills for coordinating between clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams
• Familiarity with commercial landscape construction experience is highly preferred
• Ability to manage project schedules meticulously
• Knowledge of construction regulatory compliance standards across various jurisdictions
• Strong time management skills coupled with the ability to adapt quickly to changing project needs
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
