Entry Level Construction Site Manager Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level construction site manager job?
Employers hiring at the entry level look for hands-on experience from internships, co-ops, or construction labor roles, plus a degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field. Familiarity with project scheduling software and safety certifications like OSHA 10 give candidates a real edge. Highlighting specific projects you contributed to, even in a support role, strengthens your application considerably.
Which companies hire entry level construction site managers?
Companies hiring entry level construction site managers right now include United Contractor Services, Habitat for Humanity of Durham, NC, and OEG, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. At this level, hiring tends to come from general contractors, regional construction firms, and infrastructure developers that build out junior talent through structured on-site training programs.
Are there remote entry level construction site manager jobs?
Yes, though most roles at this level are on-site by nature. About 0% of entry level construction site manager openings are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, typically covering coordination, scheduling, or preconstruction support duties rather than physical site oversight. Fully remote options are limited, so candidates open to on-site work will find a much wider range of openings.
Are these new grad construction site manager jobs?
Yes, many of the openings listed here are new grad and junior roles that explicitly welcome recent graduates and candidates with little or no professional experience. A new grad friendly posting typically requires zero to two years of experience, accepts relevant internships or coursework in lieu of full-time history, and values a strong portfolio of academic or co-op projects over a lengthy resume.
Which industries hire the most entry level construction site managers?
Entry Level construction site manager roles concentrate in Construction & Real Estate, Consulting & Professional Services, and Renewable Energy, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. These sectors drive consistent junior hiring because active project pipelines in residential development, commercial construction, and infrastructure create ongoing demand for site-level support staff at the early career stage.
