Contract Nurse RN Jobs in Illinois

INTRODUCTION

LSSI is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN)/Trainer - Indefinite Contract in Park Ridge to work 1-2 days out of the week to maintain excellent oversight of the client’s healthcare including training of direct support personnel and follow DHS requirements.

SALARY

• $40-45/hourly

Essential Functions:

• Train staff to supervise client self-administration of medications.
• Prepare nursing service packets and other client paperwork.
• Prepare and administer injections and treatments as needed.
• Examine client’s vital signs and symptoms of disease.
• Oversee medication cabinet for proper storage control.
• Keep records needed for DHS.
• Review MARS bi-monthly.
• Liaison with doctors, nurses, and/or pharmaceutical staff if needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Position Qualifications:

• Current RN license.
• Ability to complete the DHS Nurse Trainer Training within 3 months of hire.
• Ability to communicate well.
