Location: Wamego, KS
Facility: Wamego Health Center
Department: Diagnostic Radiology
Schedule: Day-Shift | Full-Time | Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm; On-Call weekend and holiday rotation.
What You Will Do:
- Generate high-precision diagnostic images by expertly positioning patients and selecting anatomic parameters to ensure physicians have the clearest data for life-saving diagnoses.
- Prioritize clinical safety by strictly adhering to radiation protection guidelines and monitoring patients during procedures to ensure a secure and comfortable imaging experience.
- Manage complex imaging protocols by safely administering contrast media and medications, ensuring all procedures meet rigorous state and federal regulatory standards.
- Optimize diagnostic outcomes by proactively evaluating imaging protocols and recommending refinements, ensuring our technology delivers the highest quality results for every patient.
What You Will Need:
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Licensed Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Kansas Board of Healing Arts obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
- One or more of the following required:
- Nuclear Medical Tech credentialed from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date. NMTCB(CT) Computed Tomography Specialty Certification or ARRT(CT) Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography required in addition to CNMT Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification.
- Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
- Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
Education:
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Additional Preferences:
- Associate would be cross trained into CT, and would be a part of the on call rotation for weekends and holidays.
