Job Overview

Born to Blossom Behavioral Therapy is seeking compassionate, dependable, and motivated Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to join our growing team in Baxter Springs, Kansas.

As an RBT, you will provide individualized, one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities. Working under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), you will help children develop meaningful communication, social, adaptive living, and independence skills while supporting their overall quality of life.

Born to Blossom is a locally owned, clinician-led practice serving families across Southeast Kansas, Northeast Oklahoma, and Southwest Missouri. Responsibilities

• Provide direct, individualized ABA therapy under the supervision of a BCBA, following each client's treatment plan and clinical programming.
• Support the development of functional communication, social interaction, emotional regulation, daily living, and independence skills.
• Implement evidence-based teaching strategies, including natural environment teaching (NET), discrete trial teaching (DTT), and positive reinforcement.
• Build positive, trusting relationships with clients through compassionate, play-based, and individualized interactions.
• Implement individualized behavior support and safety procedures while prioritizing client dignity, assent, and well-being.
• Collect accurate behavioral data, document client progress, and complete session notes in accordance with clinical, organizational, and HIPAA requirements.
• Collaborate with BCBAs, fellow RBTs, caregivers, and other professionals to support consistency and continuity of care.
• Participate in ongoing training, supervision, and professional development to maintain clinical competency and treatment fidelity.
• Follow the RBT Ethics Code, professional boundaries, and all applicable organizational policies.

Required Qualifications

• Current RBT certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB), or eligibility to obtain certification with provided training.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow clinical instructions, accept feedback, and implement individualized treatment plans consistently.
• Dependability, professionalism, and commitment to maintaining consistent client care.
• Ability to engage actively with children in a variety of therapeutic activities and safely perform essential job duties, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Commitment to ethical, compassionate, and individualized care.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or providing direct ABA therapy.
• Experience working with children with autism, developmental disabilities, or other support needs.
• Background in behavioral health, special education, early childhood education, psychology, or a related field.
• Familiarity with skill acquisition programs, behavior support plans, and behavioral data collection.
• Experience supporting individuals with complex communication, behavioral, or adaptive needs.
