Summary
Job Description:
CT Tech - Diagnostic Imaging
Full-time, third shift
15% shift differential
25% Weekend Differential
- Perform computed tomography (CT) scans on patients using specialized imaging equipment to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions.
- Interact directly with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate imaging studies and high-quality patient care.
Requirements
- Associates degree or higher from an institution accredited by an agency that the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) recognizes, or military training graduate of JCERT-accredited program required.
- Active licensure through the Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy required.
- Registered or registry eligible by the ARRT required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Two years of experience as a Rad Tech in diagnostic radiology preferred.
- Prior experience working as a CT Technologist in a hospital or medical imaging facility preferred.
- Additional certification in Computed Tomography (CT) by the ARRT or other recognized certifying body preferred.
- BLS preferred upon hire, required within 90 days of hire.
