Customer Program Manager Jobs in Delaware: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a customer program manager in Delaware?
Most customer program manager roles in Delaware require a bachelor's degree in business, operations, or a related discipline, with no state-issued license mandated for the role itself. Delaware employers, particularly those in financial services and life sciences, heavily favor candidates who hold a PMP credential from the Project Management Institute or a Certified Customer Success Manager designation. Building experience in account coordination, project delivery, or client services at a Delaware-based employer is the most direct path into senior program management.
Which companies hire customer program managers in Delaware?
Delaware customer program manager roles are posted by State Farm, JPMorganChase, and Qnity and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Delaware's concentration of corporate headquarters and financial institutions in the Wilmington corridor means demand is especially consistent among large banking, pharmaceutical, and technology services employers operating in the state.
Which Delaware cities have the most customer program manager jobs?
Wilmington, Newark, and Delaware account for the largest share of customer program manager openings in Delaware. Wilmington drives the most postings due to its headquarters-dense financial and professional services sector, while Newark benefits from proximity to the University of Delaware research ecosystem and corporate campuses, and Dover draws openings from state government contractors and regional business services firms.
Are there remote customer program manager jobs in Delaware?
Yes, and more than most fields. About 32% of customer program manager openings tied to Delaware are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, reflecting the desk-based, coordination-heavy nature of the role. Client strategy, program reporting, and stakeholder communication functions are most commonly performed remotely, while onboarding-intensive or implementation-phase work typically requires some in-person presence with Delaware clients.
How can I get hired as a customer program manager in Delaware with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is moving from a client-facing coordinator or project associate role within a Delaware financial institution, pharmaceutical company, or technology services firm. Employers like JPMorgan Chase and DuPont run structured associate and rotational programs that place candidates without direct program management experience into client operations teams. Building a PMP exam application or earning a Certified Associate in Project Management credential strengthens any early-career application considerably in Delaware's competitive corporate market.
Where can I find and apply to customer program manager jobs in Delaware?
You can find and apply to customer program manager jobs in Delaware on Migrate Mate, which lists current Delaware openings across industries. Search the roles that fit your background and apply directly to the ones that match your experience level and preferred location within the state.
