Inside Sales & Customer Service Representative

We are an established caviar and fine foods company seeking a professional, friendly, and sales-oriented Inside Sales & Customer Service Representative.

This position is responsible for assisting customers by phone, email, and in person, including walk-in customers at our retail store. The ideal candidate provides excellent customer service while identifying opportunities to increase sales and build long-term customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Assist and provide excellent service to walk-in retail customers
• Answer incoming customer calls, emails, and product inquiries
• Take and process customer orders accurately
• Assist customers with selecting caviar, fine foods, gourmet products, and gifts
• Explain products and make recommendations based on customer needs
• Follow up with existing customers and incoming sales leads
• Contact customers regarding products, promotions, and reorder opportunities
• Upsell and cross-sell appropriate products
• Develop strong relationships with retail and commercial customers
• Assist with online and telephone orders
• Coordinate with shipping and operations to ensure orders are processed correctly
• Resolve customer questions and order issues professionally
• Maintain customer information and sales records
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and professional retail showroom

Outside Sales Representative – Caviar & Fine Foods

We are an established caviar and fine foods company seeking a motivated and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to develop new business and grow our commercial customer base.

The primary focus of this position is new account development and relationship building, particularly within the restaurant, hospitality, catering, specialty food, and gourmet retail industries.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and develop new business accounts
• Visit prospective customers and introduce our caviar and fine food products
• Develop relationships with restaurants, hotels, chefs, caterers, country clubs, gourmet markets, specialty retailers, and other food-service businesses
• Conduct regular in-person sales calls and customer visits
• Generate leads through prospecting, networking, referrals, and market research
• Present products, provide samples when appropriate, and communicate product advantages
• Prepare and follow up on quotes and sales opportunities
• Negotiate and close new business
• Maintain and grow relationships with existing accounts
• Identify opportunities to increase sales and introduce additional products
• Maintain consistent follow-up with prospective and existing customers
• Track sales activity, leads, customer visits, and opportunities
• Work toward established sales and new-account goals
• Coordinate with inside sales and operations to ensure excellent customer service
• Commission on sales

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
