J. Evans Nutrition Consulting, LLC is looking for a dietitian to join our team! We are looking for a dietitian available 1-3 days/week in the Des Moines area with the potential for additional work. The hours are flexible! Some travel may be required.
Responsibilities:
- Familiarity with state survey process and compliance to nutrition care regulations
- Provide nutrition counseling and education to residents and families
- Coordinate nutrition care through nutritional evaluations
- Experience with MDS 3.0
- Perform monthly sanitation and dining room audits
- Provide assistance as needed and collaborating with dietary manager and other nursing home staff
- Making nutritional recommendations related to weight loss and pressure injuries
- Completing nutritional assessment within the electronic medical records
- Sending consultation reports weekly to nursing home staff
