Director Of Risk Management Jobs in Utah: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a director of risk management in Utah?
Most Utah employers require a bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field, with a master's degree increasingly common at the director level. There is no state-issued license specific to this role in Utah, but professional credentials like the Certified Risk Manager or Professional Risk Manager designation carry significant weight with Utah hiring committees. Candidates typically build toward the director level through progressive roles in compliance, internal audit, or financial analysis.
How much do director of risk managements make in Utah?
Director of risk managements in Utah earn a median of about $77,770 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $57,250 for the lowest 10% to over $135,360 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire director of risk managements in Utah?
Utah director of risk management roles are posted by Stellantis, GM Financial, and Goldman Sachs and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of October 2026. Utah's concentration of financial services firms, large regional healthcare systems, and insurance companies creates consistent year-round demand for experienced risk leaders.
Which Utah cities have the most director of risk management jobs?
Salt Lake City, Draper, and South Jordan account for the greatest share of director of risk management openings in Utah.
