Summary/Objective
The truck driver is expected to work as a valued member of the shipping and receiving department. This job will primarily consist of local vehicle operations involving deliveries to customers as well as positioning and moving trucks and trailers on company grounds to facilitate shipping operations.
Essential Functions
- Operate company-owned and leased trucks over 4 tons to facilitate shipping and receiving operations.
- Perform pre and post trip inspections.
- Provide outstanding customer service during delivery and pickup operations.
- Maintain all required certifications required by DOT and OSHA and company safety programs.
- Operate all MHE as required.
- Maintain and protect all property in excellent condition.
- Maintain the equipment in a clean orderly condition.
- Perform any other tasks assigned to support and improve overall team operations.
- Must be willing to accept and receive frequent supervision and constructive feedback.

Requirements:
- Must have a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) - Class A

- Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards.
- Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Must pass a drug test and background check.
- Excellent navigation skills and familiarity with GPS and other routing systems.
