E-3 Visa Delivery Driver Jobs
Delivery Driver roles in the U.S. require a specialty occupation classification under E-3 visa rules, which means framing your logistics expertise around a qualifying bachelor's degree is the key to securing sponsorship. The E-3 has no lottery and no annual cap, so once you have a job offer, the path to a U.S. work visa is straightforward.

The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. Target carriers with DOL LCA filing history
Employers who have filed Labor Condition Applications before understand the DOL wage and working-condition requirements. Prioritize logistics companies and freight carriers that already have an HR team familiar with sponsored workers.
Get your Australian degree assessed early
USCIS treats an Australian three-year bachelor's degree as equivalent to a U.S. four-year degree, but you need a credential evaluation letter to confirm this. Arrange that assessment before you accept an offer, not after.
Confirm your employer uses E-Verify
Some states mandate E-Verify for transportation and logistics employers. Ask your prospective employer directly whether they're enrolled before signing anything, since E-Verify enrollment affects your onboarding timeline and I-9 process.
Use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service for the LCA
The LCA must be certified by DOL before your visa interview. Use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service to handle your LCA and visa paperwork so nothing delays your consulate appointment in Sydney, Melbourne, or Perth.
Negotiate your start date around visa processing
E-3 consulate appointments in Australia typically run two to six weeks out depending on the city. Build that buffer into your offer negotiation so your employer doesn't rescind the role while you're waiting on your interview slot.
E-3 Visa Delivery Driver: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I find Delivery Driver jobs with E-3 visa sponsorship?
Use Migrate Mate to search Delivery Driver roles filtered by E-3 visa sponsorship. Migrate Mate surfaces employers who have demonstrated familiarity with sponsored workers, so you're not cold-applying to companies that will back out when they learn what E-3 sponsorship involves. Filter by location and role to find active openings.
How much does it cost to get an E-3 visa?
Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service covers the entire process for $499, including the Labor Condition Application, visa document preparation, and consulate appointment guidance. Traditional immigration lawyers charge $2,000–$5,000+ for the same work. The E-3 has less paperwork than most work visas, so paying thousands for legal help is usually unnecessary.
Does a Delivery Driver role qualify as a specialty occupation for the E-3?
It depends on how the role is structured. A standard delivery position without a degree requirement won't qualify. Roles framed around logistics management, route optimization, or supply chain operations, backed by a relevant bachelor's degree, can meet the specialty occupation standard. Your offer letter and job duties need to reflect that degree requirement explicitly.
How does the E-3 compare to the H-1B for Delivery Driver roles?
The E-3 has no lottery and no annual cap, so you don't need to wait for a selection round. The H-1B visa requires entering a randomized lottery with roughly 25% selection odds. For Australian nationals, the E-3 is a far more predictable path. Both visas require a specialty occupation showing, so the degree-to-role alignment challenge applies to both.
Can I change employers after starting on an E-3 as a Delivery Driver?
Yes, but your new employer must file a fresh LCA and you'll need a new E-3 visa stamp before you travel internationally again. Your status doesn't automatically transfer. There's no portability rule for E-3 the way AC21 works for H-1B, so confirm your new employer is ready to start the LCA process before you resign.
