Who we are
About Stripe
Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. Millions of companies—from the world's largest enterprises to the most ambitious startups—use Stripe to accept payments, grow their revenue, and accelerate new business opportunities. Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet, and we have a staggering amount of work ahead. That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone's reach while doing the most important work of your career.
About The Team
Our Product Marketing team's mission is to generate customer insights that inform Stripe's product strategy and lead go-to-market for our suite of products. Product Marketing is a highly cross-functional role at Stripe, partnering closely with Product, Pricing, Sales, and Partnerships to name a few teams. Different from many other Product Marketing teams, our team works across the entire product lifecycle, from helping shape the product, to driving launch and commercialization, to growing product adoption post-launch. We're looking for an experienced team member to shape our portfolio-wide pricing and monetization strategy, deeply understand competitor pricing, develop pricing playbooks, and work with our Growth Product team to run pricing experiments to grow adoption. In this role, you'll partner closely with our Product and Product Pricing teams to develop a portfolio monetization strategy, understand and craft a narrative around the value our products deliver to users, and engage cross-functional teams across sales, campaigns, and product to drive adoption and revenue across Stripe's existing customer base and prospects.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Be deeply data-driven. You like working with data and insights and pair that with your passion for users to generate balanced and thoughtful insights.
- Be a storyteller. You have deep empathy for users and are able to adapt how you communicate to best reach and engage your audience and differentiate Stripe. You have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Keep things organized. You're able to manage highly interdependent, complex projects and keep various workstreams on track.
- Be ambitious. You're eager to make an impact at Stripe. You thrive in a fast-moving, dynamic, hyper-growth environment and are able to operate fluidly between the 30,000-foot strategy level and the micro-detail to get things right.
- Act as a team player. Product Marketers collaborate across the Marketing team and with basically every team at Stripe. You're able to work with a range of disciplines to execute on your work.
Responsibilities
- Partner closely with product, pricing, and sales teams to build pricing and monetization strategies, with the goal of driving revenue, improving customer experience and product attach.
- Develop a strong understanding of user needs, competitor pricing and sources of differentiation relative to other alternatives. Enable sales teams in understanding and communicating the value of our products.
- Launch new pricing constructs, develop go-to-market plans, and create messaging and positioning for different user segments.
WHO YOU ARE
We're looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are encouraged to apply. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- 3+ years of prior experience with focus on pricing and monetization, and payments and fintech.
- Experience with understanding competitor landscape, conducting detailed benchmarking and understanding competitive strategies.
- Experience conducting qualitative and quantitative user research on product needs and value perception.
- Problem-solving mindset, with experience leveraging data to identify monetization opportunities and drive cross-functional alignment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Familiarity with analytical tools. SQL experience is a plus.
- Experience with financial services including online payments.
- Hands-on mindset to get any job done.
Hybrid work at Stripe
This role is available either in an office or a remote location (35+ miles or 56+ km from a Stripe office).
In-office expectations
Office-assigned Stripes spend at least 50% of the time in a given month in their local office or with users. This hits a balance between bringing people together for in-person collaboration and learning from each other, while supporting flexibility about how to do this in a way that makes sense for individuals and their teams.
Working remotely at Stripe
A remote location is defined as being 35 miles (56 kilometers) or more from one of our offices. While you would be welcome to come into the office for team/business meetings, on-sites, meet-ups, and events, our expectation is you would regularly work from home rather than a Stripe office. Stripe does not cover the cost of relocating to a remote location. We encourage you to apply for roles that match the location where you currently live or plan to live.
PAY AND BENEFITS
The annual US base salary range for this role is $132,600 - $198,800. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Stripe and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and location. Applicants interested in this role and who are not located in the US may request the annual salary range for their location during the interview process.
Additional benefits for this role may include: equity, company bonus or sales commissions/bonuses; 401(k) plan; medical, dental, and vision benefits; and wellness stipends.

Frame your Australian credentials for U.S. hiring managers
A three-year Australian bachelor's degree is accepted as equivalent to a U.S. four-year degree for E-3 visa purposes. Pair your transcript with a credential evaluation letter so hiring managers can confirm specialty occupation eligibility before extending an offer.
Target companies with active LCA filing history
Search DOL's OFLC disclosure data for employers who have previously filed Labor Condition Applications for marketing roles. Prior LCA activity signals the employer already understands the E-3 process, which shortens the time from offer to approval.
Clarify E-3 versus H-1B sponsorship early in interviews
Many U.S. employers assume sponsorship means H-1B lottery exposure. Correct this during the offer stage: the E-3 has no cap, no lottery, and your employer files the LCA with DOL rather than entering a random selection process.
Use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service for offer-to-consulate handling
Once you have a signed offer letter, use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service to manage your LCA submission, DS-160, and consulate appointment preparation. Handling each step yourself risks errors that delay your start date.
Prepare a specialty occupation memo before negotiations
Product Marketing Manager roles sometimes use hybrid titles that DOL reviewers scrutinize. Document how your role requires specialized marketing knowledge, not just general business skills, so your employer's LCA filing accurately reflects the position.
Align your start date with LCA certification timelines
DOL typically certifies LCAs within seven business days, but build in buffer time when negotiating your start date. Propose a start date at least three to four weeks after your offer letter is signed to absorb any processing delays.
E-3 Visa Product Marketing Manager: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I find Product Marketing Manager jobs with E-3 visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for Australian professionals searching for roles that include E-3 sponsorship. Rather than filtering through general job boards where sponsorship status is unclear, Migrate Mate surfaces Product Marketing Manager positions at employers who have indicated willingness to support E-3 applications, saving you the back-and-forth of confirming eligibility after applying.
How much does it cost to get an E-3 visa?
Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service covers the entire process for $499, including the Labor Condition Application, visa document preparation, and consulate appointment guidance. Traditional immigration lawyers charge $2,000–$5,000+ for the same work. The E-3 has less paperwork than most work visas, so paying thousands for legal help is usually unnecessary.
Does a Product Marketing Manager role qualify as a specialty occupation for the E-3?
Yes, provided the position genuinely requires a bachelor's degree or higher in marketing, communications, business, or a closely related field. Roles that accept any degree in any discipline can fail the specialty occupation test. When reviewing a job description, confirm the posting specifies a relevant field of study rather than simply requiring 'a bachelor's degree.'
How does E-3 sponsorship compare to H-1B sponsorship for Product Marketing Manager roles?
The E-3 has no annual cap and no lottery, so your employer files a Labor Condition Application with DOL and you attend a consulate interview without any random selection risk. H-1B requires entering a lottery each March with roughly a 25-35% selection rate. For Product Marketing Manager candidates who are Australian citizens, the E-3 is a far more reliable path to a U.S. start date.
Can I change employers after starting a Product Marketing Manager role on an E-3?
Yes, but your new employer must file a fresh LCA and your E-3 status is tied to that specific employer and role. You cannot transfer your existing E-3 approval. Plan your transition carefully: USCIS does not provide a formal grace period for E-3 holders changing jobs, so time your resignation to align with your new LCA certification and consulate appointment.
