Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding E-3 Visa Sponsorship as a Revenue Operations Manager
Translate your Australian credentials for U.S. hiring
A three-year Australian bachelor's degree is generally accepted as equivalent to a U.S. four-year degree for E-3 visa purposes. Make sure your resume and any employer-facing documents explicitly name your degree field so hiring managers can confirm specialty occupation eligibility upfront.
Target SaaS and tech companies with E-3 history
RevOps roles are concentrated in SaaS, fintech, and enterprise software. Search DOL's OFLC disclosure data to confirm which employers have filed E-3 Labor Condition Applications for business operations or revenue management roles before you apply.
Clarify the LCA requirement before your offer letter
Some hiring managers confuse the E-3 with the H-1B lottery and assume sponsorship is burdensome. Explain that the employer only needs a certified LCA from DOL, not a petition filing with USCIS, and that there's no cap or lottery involved.
Use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service after your offer
Once you have a signed offer, use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service to handle your LCA and visa paperwork end-to-end, from DOL submission through consulate preparation. This removes the administrative burden from your new employer and reduces delays before your start date.
Prepare a specialty occupation brief for your role
Revenue Operations Manager is a defined specialty occupation, but some consular officers will probe the degree requirement. Bring a one-page summary showing your degree field, the role's core analytical functions, and why a business or finance degree is a standard industry requirement for the position.
Time your consulate appointment around the LCA certification window
DOL certifies LCAs within seven business days in most cases. Schedule your consulate appointment in Australia only after your LCA is certified, since you'll need to present the certified LCA at your interview. Booking too early can create a gap between your appointment date and document availability.
E-3 Visa Revenue Operations Manager: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I find Revenue Operations Manager jobs with E-3 visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for this search. It surfaces Revenue Operations Manager roles at U.S. employers with E-3 sponsorship history, so you're not filtering through thousands of listings that won't support Australian nationals. You can search by role, location, and industry to find companies already familiar with the E-3 process.
How much does it cost to get an E-3 visa?
Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service covers the entire process for $499, including the Labor Condition Application, visa document preparation, and consulate appointment guidance. Traditional immigration lawyers charge $2,000–$5,000+ for the same work. The E-3 has less paperwork than most work visas, so paying thousands for legal help is usually unnecessary.
Does a Revenue Operations Manager role qualify as a specialty occupation for the E-3?
Yes. Revenue Operations Manager is a specialty occupation because the role requires theoretical and practical application of business analytics, CRM systems, and revenue strategy, typically requiring a bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field. The job's technical requirements and the industry norm of degree-holding practitioners support this classification. Your employer will certify this when filing the LCA with DOL.
How does the E-3 compare to the H-1B for Revenue Operations Manager roles?
The E-3 is only available to Australian nationals, but for those who qualify it's significantly more predictable than the H-1B. There's no annual cap and no lottery, so your employer can file at any time of year and you don't risk being left without status after a failed draw. The employer's obligation is a certified LCA from DOL rather than a USCIS petition, which most RevOps hiring managers find far less complex.
Can I change employers or get promoted while on an E-3 as a Revenue Operations Manager?
You can change employers, but each new employer must file a fresh LCA with DOL and you'll need to attend a new consulate appointment or file a change of status with USCIS if you're already in the U.S. A promotion within the same employer is generally fine if the role remains a specialty occupation and the salary meets the prevailing wage certified on the existing LCA. A significant change in job duties may require a new LCA.
