E-3 Visa Supply Chain Director Jobs
Supply Chain Director roles qualify as E-3 specialty occupations when tied to a relevant degree in logistics, operations, or business. Australian professionals can secure E-3 sponsorship without competing in the H-1B lottery, and the visa renews indefinitely as long as you hold a qualifying role with a U.S. employer.

Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding E-3 Visa Sponsorship as a Supply Chain Director
Translate your credentials for U.S. employers
Australian three-year bachelor's degrees are generally accepted as equivalent to U.S. four-year degrees for E-3 purposes. Get a credential evaluation from a NACES-approved service before interviews so employers see a clear equivalency on paper.
Target companies with active LCA filing history
Search the DOL's Office of Foreign Labor Certification disclosure data for Supply Chain Director LCA filings. Employers who have certified LCAs before know the process and are far less likely to withdraw an offer over sponsorship complexity.
Use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service for the LCA
The LCA must be DOL-certified before you can schedule your consulate appointment. Use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service to handle your LCA and visa paperwork so the offer-to-appointment timeline doesn't stall on your employer's HR backlog.
Prepare a specialty occupation memo for your role
Supply Chain Director titles can vary widely. Draft a one-page memo linking your specific duties to your degree field, referencing the O*NET job zone classification. This gives the consular officer a clear basis for approving the specialty occupation requirement.
Confirm your employer's prevailing wage obligations upfront
The DOL requires your offered salary to meet the prevailing wage for your role and location before it will certify your LCA. Ask your employer to run a prevailing wage check with DOL's wage library before you finalise the offer.

Find Supply Chain Director JobsSupply Chain Director E-3 Visa: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I find Supply Chain Director jobs that offer E-3 sponsorship?
Migrate Mate lets you search Supply Chain Director roles filtered specifically for E-3 visa sponsorship, so you're not sifting through listings from employers unfamiliar with the visa. Focusing on companies with prior LCA filing history significantly shortens the time from offer to approved sponsorship.
How much does it cost to get an E-3 visa?
Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service covers the entire process for $499, including the Labor Condition Application, visa document preparation, and consulate appointment guidance. Traditional immigration lawyers charge $2,000–$5,000+ for the same work. The E-3 has less paperwork than most work visas, so paying thousands for legal help is usually unnecessary.
Does a Supply Chain Director role qualify as a specialty occupation for E-3?
Yes, provided the position requires at least a bachelor's degree in a directly related field such as supply chain management, logistics, operations management, or business. Roles where any degree suffices regardless of field generally won't meet the specialty occupation standard, so the job description must specify the degree requirement.
How does E-3 compare to H-1B for Supply Chain Director roles?
The E-3 has no lottery and no annual numerical cap, so you can apply at any time of year once you have a job offer and a certified LCA. H-1B cap-subject petitions are limited to 85,000 slots annually and selected by lottery in March. For Australian nationals, E-3 is the more reliable path to starting work without a multi-year wait.
Can I change employers or get promoted while on E-3 status?
You can change employers, but each new position requires a fresh LCA filed with DOL and a new E-3 visa stamp from a U.S. consulate. A promotion within the same company that materially changes your job duties also warrants a new LCA to ensure the prevailing wage and specialty occupation conditions still reflect your updated role.
