E-3 Visa Production Supervisor Jobs
Production Supervisor roles qualify for E-3 visa sponsorship when the position requires a bachelor's degree in engineering, operations management, or a related field. Australian professionals with manufacturing or supply chain credentials can pursue U.S. opportunities without lottery risk, since the E-3 has no annual cap and renews in two-year increments.

Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding E-3 Visa Sponsorship as a Production Supervisor
Translate your qualifications for U.S. employers
Australian three-year bachelor's degrees are generally accepted as equivalent to U.S. four-year degrees for E-3 purposes, but your resume should explicitly state your degree field and link it to production supervision, not just list the credential.
Target manufacturers with existing LCA filing history
Search DOL's OFLC disclosure data for companies that have previously filed Labor Condition Applications for Production Supervisor roles. Those employers already understand the E-3 process and won't need educating at the offer stage.
Clarify specialty occupation status before applying
Not every Production Supervisor role qualifies as a specialty occupation. Roles that require theoretical and practical application of engineering or industrial management knowledge qualify. Positions listed as requiring 'any bachelor's degree' may not pass USCIS scrutiny.
Address the LCA filing timeline with your employer
Your employer must file a certified Labor Condition Application with DOL before your visa appointment. This typically takes seven business days, so align your offer acceptance and consulate scheduling around that window to avoid delays.
Use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service for end-to-end support
Once you have an offer, use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service to handle your LCA filing, DS-160 preparation, and consulate appointment documentation so nothing falls through the gap between your employer's HR team and the consulate.

Find Production Supervisor JobsProduction Supervisor E-3 Visa: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I find Production Supervisor jobs with E-3 visa sponsorship?
Search Migrate Mate to filter Production Supervisor roles by employers who have E-3 or H-1B sponsorship history. Most standard job boards don't surface sponsorship willingness, so filtering by verified filing history saves you from applying to roles where the employer has never sponsored a work visa and won't know how to start.
How much does it cost to get an E-3 visa?
Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service covers the entire process for $499, including the Labor Condition Application, visa document preparation, and consulate appointment guidance. Traditional immigration lawyers charge $2,000–$5,000+ for the same work. The E-3 has less paperwork than most work visas, so paying thousands for legal help is usually unnecessary.
Does a Production Supervisor role qualify as a specialty occupation for the E-3?
It depends on how the role is written. A Production Supervisor position that requires a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, or operations management qualifies. A posting that lists a degree as preferred rather than required, or that accepts any field of study, creates a weaker specialty occupation argument and increases the risk of a consular challenge.
How does the E-3 compare to the H-1B for Production Supervisor roles?
The E-3 has no lottery and no annual cap, so you aren't competing for a limited pool of slots the way H-1B applicants do. You also apply directly at the consulate rather than waiting for USCIS adjudication, which is faster. The trade-off is that the E-3 is available only to Australian citizens and requires renewing every two years with a current job offer.
Can I change employers on an E-3 while working as a Production Supervisor?
Yes, but the process starts fresh with each new employer. Your new employer must file a certified LCA with DOL, and you'll need to either obtain a new E-3 visa stamp at a consulate or file for a change of status with USCIS if you're already inside the U.S. There's no portability provision that lets you port an E-3 petition the way AC21 works for H-1B holders.
