Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding E-3 Visa Sponsorship as a Truck Washer
Verify your credential equivalency before applying
Australian trade certificates and vocational qualifications can satisfy E-3 degree requirements through a credential evaluation. Get a formal equivalency letter from a NACES-recognized evaluator before submitting applications so employers don't question your eligibility.
Target fleet operators and logistics contractors
Large trucking fleets, freight terminals, and third-party logistics firms file LCAs far more regularly than small owner-operators. Focus your search on companies with dedicated HR or compliance teams, as they're equipped to handle the DOL certification paperwork.
Search E-3 sponsorship roles on Migrate Mate
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically for Australian nationals seeking E-3 sponsorship, saving you from applying to roles where employers have no capacity or willingness to file. Use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service to handle your LCA and visa paperwork once you have an offer.
Confirm the LCA wage level matches your offer
Your employer's LCA must certify wages at or above the DOL prevailing wage for your specific location and job title. Ask your employer to confirm the wage level before you accept the offer, since a mismatch can delay or invalidate your visa application.
Clarify E-Verify enrollment status with your employer
Some U.S. states mandate E-Verify for employers in transportation and logistics. Ask your prospective employer whether they're enrolled before the offer stage, since non-enrolled employers in mandatory-participation states can't legally onboard you while your status is being processed.
Time your consulate appointment around shift availability
E-3 visa interviews are conducted at U.S. consulates in Sydney, Melbourne, and Perth. Consulate wait times fluctuate by location and season, so book your appointment as soon as your employer's LCA is certified rather than waiting until your intended start date is close.

Find Truck Washer JobsTruck Washer E-3 Visa: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I find Truck Washer jobs with E-3 visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for Australian nationals searching for roles with E-3 sponsorship. You can filter listings by job title and visa type to surface employers who are already set up to file the required Labor Condition Application with the DOL. That removes the guesswork of approaching employers who have no sponsorship infrastructure in place.
How much does it cost to get an E-3 visa?
Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service covers the entire process for $499, including the Labor Condition Application, visa document preparation, and consulate appointment guidance. Traditional immigration lawyers charge $2,000–$5,000+ for the same work. The E-3 has less paperwork than most work visas, so paying thousands for legal help is usually unnecessary.
Does a Truck Washer role qualify as a specialty occupation for the E-3?
This is the key eligibility question for this role. The E-3 requires the position to qualify as a specialty occupation, meaning it normally requires at least a bachelor's degree or its equivalent in a specific field. Truck Washer roles that are primarily manual or vocational may face scrutiny at this standard. Your employer and the specific job description need to reflect duties that align with a degree requirement for the application to hold up.
How does the E-3 compare to the H-1B for Truck Washer positions?
The E-3 is only available to Australian citizens, but it has a major structural advantage: there's no annual lottery. The H-1B is subject to a competitive random selection process each year, meaning even a qualified candidate with an employer sponsor may not get selected. The E-3 has an annual cap of 10,500 visas that has never been exhausted, so approval depends on your qualifications and the employer's paperwork rather than luck.
What documents does my employer need to sponsor me on an E-3?
Your employer must file a Labor Condition Application with the DOL and receive certification before you can apply for the visa. You'll then need the certified LCA, a formal job offer letter, and evidence supporting the specialty occupation claim to present at your consulate interview. USCIS is not involved in the standard E-3 consular process, which keeps the timeline shorter than most other work visas.
