Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding E-3 Visa Sponsorship as a VP Sales
Align your credentials to specialty occupation
A VP Sales role must require a bachelor's degree in a specific field to qualify as a specialty occupation. Pair your Australian degree with documentation linking it directly to the commercial or business strategy responsibilities in your job description.
Target companies with active LCA filing history
Search DOL's Office of Foreign Labor Certification disclosure data to find companies that have already certified LCAs for sales leadership roles. Employers with prior E-3 or H-1B filings in commercial functions understand the process and face fewer internal legal hurdles.
Use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service for the LCA step
The LCA must be certified by DOL before your consulate appointment, and errors in wage level or SOC code selection can delay or derail approval. Use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service to handle your LCA and visa paperwork from offer letter to consulate submission.
Get E-3 sponsorship confirmed before negotiating comp
Ask the hiring manager to confirm E-3 willingness before your final offer stage, not after. Many U.S. employers at VP level have never sponsored an E-3 and assume the process mirrors H-1B complexity. Clarifying the difference early removes a common late-stage objection.
Find VP Sales roles with E-3 sponsorship on Migrate Mate
Migrate Mate lists VP Sales positions at U.S. employers who have indicated E-3 sponsorship willingness, filtering out roles where visa support is unlikely. Searching there saves time you'd otherwise spend screening companies that won't engage.
Prepare your credential equivalency documentation early
Australian three-year bachelor's degrees are generally accepted as equivalent to U.S. four-year degrees, but consular officers may ask for supporting documentation. Have your official transcripts and a credential evaluation letter ready before your interview appointment is scheduled.

Find VP Sales JobsVP Sales E-3 Visa: Frequently Asked Questions
Where can I find VP Sales jobs with E-3 visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for Australian professionals searching for U.S. roles with E-3 visa sponsorship. It surfaces VP Sales positions at companies that have signaled sponsorship willingness, so you're not wasting outreach on employers who won't support the visa. Standard job boards don't filter by E-3 sponsorship status, which makes the search significantly less efficient.
How much does it cost to get an E-3 visa?
Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service covers the entire process for $499, including the Labor Condition Application, visa document preparation, and consulate appointment guidance. Traditional immigration lawyers charge $2,000–$5,000+ for the same work. The E-3 has less paperwork than most work visas, so paying thousands for legal help is usually unnecessary.
Does a VP Sales role qualify as a specialty occupation for the E-3?
It depends on how the role is defined and what degree the employer requires. A VP Sales position that requires a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field typically qualifies. If the employer lists the degree as preferred rather than required, or accepts any degree regardless of field, the role may not meet the specialty occupation standard USCIS and consular officers apply.
How does the E-3 compare to the H-1B for VP Sales roles?
The E-3 has no annual cap and no lottery, so you can apply any time of year once you have a job offer and a certified LCA. The H-1B has an 85,000-slot annual cap with a lottery that runs once a year in March, meaning most applicants wait up to a year before they can even start. For a VP Sales hire, the E-3 lets both you and the employer move on a realistic commercial timeline.
Can I change employers or negotiate a promotion while on an E-3?
You can change employers, but your new employer must file a fresh LCA with DOL and you'll need a new E-3 visa stamp before re-entering the U.S. or at your next renewal. A promotion or title change to a materially different role may also require a new LCA if the wage level or job duties shift significantly. You can continue working for your current employer while a new E-3 application is in process.
