E-3 Visa Amazon Web Services Aws Jobs
Amazon Web Services (AWS) roles in cloud infrastructure, solutions architecture, and data engineering qualify as E-3 specialty occupations, making them strong candidates for E-3 visa sponsorship. AWS is one of the most active LCA filers in the U.S. tech sector, and the E-3's no-lottery structure gives Australian professionals a repeatable, cap-free path into these roles.

Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding E-3 Visa Sponsorship as an Amazon Web Services Aws
Frame your AWS certifications for U.S. specialty occupation
AWS certifications like Solutions Architect Professional or DevOps Engineer strengthen your specialty occupation case by demonstrating field-specific knowledge. Pair them with a degree in computer science, IT, or engineering to give the LCA a clean credential story.
Target AWS teams with active LCA filing history
Search DOL's OFLC disclosure data for AWS LCA filings by job title and work location. Roles in Seattle, Northern Virginia, and Austin have the densest filing histories, which signals established E-3 sponsorship workflows inside those business units.
Distinguish E-3 from H-1B when pitching AWS recruiters
AWS recruiters familiar with H-1B sometimes assume all work visas involve lottery risk. Tell them the E-3 has no cap and no lottery, so you can start as soon as the LCA certifies and your consulate appointment clears, without waiting for an annual selection cycle.
Get your LCA job title matched precisely to your offer
AWS titles like 'Cloud Support Engineer' and 'Solutions Architect' map to distinct DOL Standard Occupational Classification codes. A mismatch between your offer letter title and the LCA job title can trigger DOL certification delays, so confirm the exact title before the LCA is filed.
Use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service for the LCA and consulate prep
Once you have an AWS offer, use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service to handle your LCA submission, DS-160, and consulate preparation. Migrate Mate manages the full process so neither you nor your AWS hiring team needs to coordinate each step independently.
Prepare for consulate questions about your AWS role scope
Consular officers at Sydney, Melbourne, and Perth will ask how your degree relates to the specific AWS role. Prepare a clear one-paragraph explanation linking your educational background to the technical responsibilities in your offer letter, not just your job title.

Find Amazon Web Services Aws JobsAmazon Web Services Aws E-3 Visa: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I find Amazon Web Services AWS jobs that offer E-3 visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate is the most direct way to search AWS roles filtered specifically for E-3 visa sponsorship. Many AWS positions qualify as specialty occupations under the E-3 criteria, but not every open role is flagged for international sponsorship. Searching through Migrate Mate surfaces roles where E-3 sponsorship is already part of the hiring conversation, saving you from applying blind.
How much does it cost to get an E-3 visa?
Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service covers the entire process for $499, including the Labor Condition Application, visa document preparation, and consulate appointment guidance. Traditional immigration lawyers charge $2,000–$5,000+ for the same work. The E-3 has less paperwork than most work visas, so paying thousands for legal help is usually unnecessary.
Does AWS sponsoring an E-3 visa require going through a lottery like H-1B?
No. The E-3 visa has no annual lottery and no cap that fills year to year. AWS can file your Labor Condition Application with the DOL and proceed to a consulate appointment on a timeline driven by certification speed and appointment availability, not by whether your name was drawn. This makes E-3 sponsorship significantly more predictable for both you and your AWS team.
Which AWS job titles typically qualify as E-3 specialty occupations?
Roles requiring a bachelor's degree or higher in a specific technical field qualify. This includes Solutions Architect, Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, Data Engineer, Software Development Engineer, Security Engineer, and Machine Learning Engineer. Generalist or non-technical roles where any degree field is acceptable are harder to support under the specialty occupation standard.
Can I transfer my E-3 status if I move between AWS teams or business units?
A material change in job duties, work location, or job title within AWS typically requires a new LCA filing, even if you stay at the same company. Relocating from one AWS office to another in a different metro area is the most common trigger. Your employer needs to file an amended LCA reflecting the new work location before you start working there.
