Ecommerce Manager Jobs in Texas: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a ecommerce manager in Texas?
There is no state-issued license required to work as an ecommerce manager in Texas. Most employers expect a bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related discipline, combined with hands-on platform experience. Texas hiring managers consistently prioritize candidates who can show results from managing a live storefront, running paid campaigns, or growing organic traffic, so building a portfolio of measurable outcomes matters more than any single certification.
How much do ecommerce managers make in Texas?
Ecommerce managers in Texas earn a median of about $147,880 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $81,820 for the lowest 10% to over $259,200 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire ecommerce managers in Texas?
Employers hiring ecommerce managers in Texas right now include A-MAX Insurance, Academy Sports + Outdoors, and Canadian Imperial Bank Of Commerce, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. Texas's large retail, consumer goods, and technology sectors mean demand is spread across both major corporate headquarters and fast-growing regional brands.
Which Texas cities have the most ecommerce manager jobs?
Dallas, Commerce, and Grapevine have the most ecommerce manager openings in Texas. Dallas-Fort Worth leads because of its dense concentration of retail corporate headquarters and regional distribution hubs, Austin draws roles tied to tech-forward direct-to-consumer brands, and Houston's large consumer goods and energy-adjacent retail sector rounds out the market.
Are there remote ecommerce manager jobs in Texas?
Yes, and more than most fields. About 25% of ecommerce manager openings tied to Texas are remote or hybrid as of June 2026, reflecting how much of the work is platform-based and data-driven. The most remote-friendly functions are campaign management, analytics, and marketplace strategy, while roles that involve warehouse coordination or in-person merchandising tend to require an on-site presence.
How can I get hired as a ecommerce manager in Texas with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is a digital marketing coordinator or ecommerce associate role at a mid-size Texas retailer or consumer brand, where you can build platform and analytics experience directly. Large Texas employers like H-E-B and regional DTC brands in Austin and Dallas often hire associates who move into management after proving results on paid channels or site merchandising. A Google Analytics certification or a Shopify Partner credential gives candidates a concrete edge when applying without a full management background.
Where can I find and apply to ecommerce manager jobs in Texas?
You can find and apply to ecommerce manager jobs in Texas on Migrate Mate, which lists current Texas openings across experience levels and specialties. Find the roles that fit your background and apply directly to the employers posting them.
