We are seeking a Field Technician to work from our Mishawaka office. This position will be responsible for designing, troubleshooting and repairing control systems for the water industry throughout Indiana and Michigan. Candidate will have experience in PLC logic and SCADA programming. Position requires a good driving record and the ability to do hands-on labor installing and starting up new control systems and troubleshooting and repair of existing controls.
Desired Skills
· Ability to troubleshoot electrical circuits.
· Understand process and instrumentation diagrams.
· Familiarity with Allen Bradley PLC programming software.
· Willing and able to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally.
· Self-starter, requires minimal supervision.
· Install, program, and startup variable frequency drives.
· Works well with others.
The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of electrical controls, including variable speed drives, and programmable controllers.
