Job Description
The Electrical Maintenance Technician will maintain, service, troubleshoot and repair electrical systems used in utilities and facilities areas. They will be required to work on a variety of electrical equipment ranging from lighting systems to power distribution, and motors.
Responsibilities:
- Perform troubleshooting and repairs on all commercial and industrial equipment.
- Examples
- Variable Frequency Drives
- Motors and Controls
- Power Distribution Systems
- Lighting Management Systems
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks on a large variety of equipment including infrared scanning and static bonding and grounding.
- Communicates, through various means, such as email, voicemail, and maintenance management system (Maximo) the status of ongoing work activities.
- Will work with voltages up to 13,200. Must have at a minimum experience with 480 volts.
- Completes all necessary training requirements including scheduled training, computer based, and any other training identified in development plan.
- Develop techniques as necessary to ascertain that newly acquired or developed performs in accordance with required specifications.
- Assists in establishing and documenting appropriate job plans, and other service protocols that may be required.
- Ensures that GxP and safe work policies and procedures are followed and always maintained in accordance with established company policies.
- Other responsibilities and duties as assigned by Group Leader, Supervisor, or SR Supervisor.
Qualifications
- Knowledge and ability to use basic power tools and ability to apply proper hand and measuring tools in an industrial setting.
- HS diploma with 5+ yrs. experience or Relevant Certificate with 3+ yrs. experience or Associates Technical degree with 1+ yrs. experience.

Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. - This job is eligible to participate in our short-term incentive programs.
