Job Title: HR Business Partner I
Location: Clearwater, FL, Hybrid (Hybrid – 3 days in office)
Duration: 6+ Months

Position Summary:
- Partner with regional HR Business Partners and line managers to provide expert coaching on progressive discipline, conflict resolution, and corrective action.
- Develop and deliver training programs for managers focused on leading with empathy, effective documentation, and labor law compliance.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on ER issues, providing balanced perspectives that mitigate risk while supporting business objectives.
- Evaluate current ER intake and investigation processes to identify bottlenecks; design and implement streamlined, scalable workflows.
- Conduct thorough, objective investigations into high-level or sensitive complaints.
- Analyze ER trends to proactively identify key areas within the organization and develop targeted intervention plans.
Required Qualifications
Experience:
3-5 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years dedicated specifically to Employee Relations or Labor Relations in a national or multi-state capacity.
Competencies:
- Exceptional ability to navigate sensitive conversations with neutrality and empathy.
- Influential verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting leadership.
- Project Management: Proven track record of leading process improvement initiatives from conception to execution.
- Experience in retail or the professional beauty industry is highly desirable.
