Entry Level Enterprise Application Architect Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level enterprise application architect job?
Entry level enterprise application architect roles reward candidates who can demonstrate hands-on work with enterprise systems, even from coursework or internships. Employers at this level look for familiarity with architecture frameworks, cloud platforms, and integration patterns. A portfolio showing a system design project, a capstone, or documented internship contributions gives your application a concrete edge over candidates who rely on credentials alone.
Which companies hire entry level enterprise application architects?
Companies hiring entry level enterprise application architects right now include SpaceX, Medical University of South Carolina, and Siemens, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Both large enterprise technology firms and mid-size organizations modernizing their application stacks tend to post at this level, often pairing junior architects with senior teams on active implementation projects.
Are there remote entry level enterprise application architect jobs?
Yes, though remote availability varies by employer and project phase. About 32% of entry level enterprise application architect openings are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, giving new candidates real flexibility on location. Hybrid arrangements are common, since many teams expect junior architects to collaborate on-site during initial onboarding and design sprints before moving to more flexible schedules.
Are these new grad enterprise application architect jobs?
Yes, the listings here include new grad, recent graduate, and junior enterprise application architect roles. A posting is new-grad friendly when it welcomes zero to two years of experience, accepts internships or academic projects as qualifying background, or explicitly invites candidates with a strong portfolio in place of commercial work history. Search for language like 'junior,' 'associate,' or 'entry level' in the listing details to confirm fit.
Which industries hire the most entry level enterprise application architects?
Entry Level enterprise application architect roles concentrate in Technology & Software, Manufacturing, and Healthcare & Medical Services, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. These sectors drive entry level hiring because they are actively replacing legacy systems and expanding cloud-based application infrastructure, creating openings where junior architects can contribute to real modernization work from the start.
