Senior Level Enterprise Sales Manager Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a senior level enterprise sales manager job?
Employers hiring at this level look for candidates who have owned large quota numbers, led sales teams or cross-functional pods, and closed multi-stakeholder enterprise deals independently. A strong pipeline of named accounts, experience building territory strategy from scratch, and a history of developing junior reps all sharpen a candidacy. Tailoring your application to show business impact rather than activity metrics gives you a clear edge.
Which companies hire senior level enterprise sales managers?
Companies hiring senior level enterprise sales managers right now include Transaction Network Services (TNS), Fivetran, and Google, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Hiring at this level tends to come from organizations scaling enterprise revenue functions, including established technology vendors, professional services firms, and high-growth SaaS companies building out regional or vertical sales leadership.
Are there remote senior level enterprise sales manager jobs?
Yes, though availability varies by employer and territory structure. About 47% of senior level enterprise sales manager openings are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, making it a flexible field at this career stage. Some roles require travel to key accounts or company headquarters even when classified as remote, so reviewing the travel expectations in each listing is worth doing before applying.
What makes an enterprise sales manager role senior level?
Senior level enterprise sales manager roles are defined by scope and ownership rather than task execution. Expectations shift toward setting go-to-market strategy for a territory or vertical, managing a team of account executives or sales reps, and owning revenue targets without close oversight. Mentoring junior sellers, contributing to hiring decisions, and collaborating directly with product or marketing leadership are common at this stage.
Which industries hire the most senior level enterprise sales managers?
Senior level enterprise sales manager roles concentrate in Technology & Software, Consulting & Professional Services, and Telecommunications, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. These sectors tend to run complex, high-value sales cycles that require experienced managers who can coach teams, navigate long procurement processes, and build relationships at the executive buyer level.
