Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager / Estimator to oversee residential and light‑commercial concrete projects from initial bid through final completion. The ideal candidate has strong technical knowledge of concrete construction, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in Excel, Bluebeam, and Housecall Pro for estimating, scheduling, and project management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate, detailed estimates for foundations, flatwork, structural concrete, retaining walls, and related scopes.
- Review plans, specifications, soils reports, and site conditions to develop complete takeoffs.
- Manage active projects, including scheduling, subcontractor coordination, change orders, inspections, and client communication.
- Use Bluebeam for plan review, measurements, markups, and quantity takeoffs.
- Use Excel to build and maintain estimating templates, cost breakdowns, budgets, and production tracking.
- Use Housecall Pro for scheduling, job updates, workflow management, and customer communication.
- Coordinate with excavation and other trades to maintain project timelines.
- Identify scope gaps, RFIs, and potential risks before and during construction.
- Maintain organized documentation, daily logs, and job progress updates.
- Ensure projects meet quality standards, safety requirements, and company expectations.
Qualifications:
- Experience in concrete construction, estimating, or project management.
- Strong understanding of residential and light‑commercial concrete scopes.
- Proficiency in Excel, Bluebeam, and Housecall Pro (or similar platforms).
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and technical documents.
- Strong communication and client‑facing skills.
