About the Role
Per Lei and Stile by Per Lei are looking for a creative, highly organized, and self-driven Social Media & Marketing Manager to own the marketing presence of both brands.
This is a hands-on role for someone who loves fashion, understands the fast-moving world of retail, and can take an idea from concept through execution. We are not looking for someone who waits to be told what to post. We are looking for someone who brings ideas to the table, builds the content plan, leads the creative process, and makes it happen.
You will manage social media for both brands, lead content creation, coordinate email and SMS marketing, create digital graphics, and work alongside our team and ecommerce photographers to consistently capture fresh content.
This is an in-person, highly collaborative role that will require regular travel between our store locations to capture content, work with our teams, highlight what is happening in each store, and bring our brands to life. We currently operate seven store locations, with additional locations planned as we continue to grow.
Per Lei and Stile are sister brands with different customers, product assortments, price points, and identities. This person should be able to understand both brands and create marketing that feels distinct, relevant, and authentic to each.
Social Media & Content
- Own and manage Instagram and TikTok for both Per Lei and Stile by Per Lei.
- Develop and maintain the social media strategy and content calendar for both brands.
- Plan, film, edit, schedule, and publish Reels, TikToks, Stories, static posts, carousels, and other social content.
- Develop content around new arrivals, styling, trends, promotions, events, store happenings, and our team.
- Regularly visit our store locations to capture fresh content and work directly with the teams featured in our social media.
- Stay ahead of social trends, sounds, formats, and platform changes and identify which opportunities make sense for our brands.
- Write engaging, brand-appropriate social copy and captions.
- Monitor content performance and use results to continually improve the strategy.
- Maintain a consistent and active presence across both brands.
Content Creation & Photoshoots
Our team is frequently featured in our content, and this role is responsible for leading that process.
- Develop concepts for team-led videos and social content.
- Create scripts, talking points, and direction for employees featured in content.
- Direct and film team members and edit finished content.
- Be comfortable appearing on camera and creating content personally.
- Coordinate content days across different store locations based on marketing needs, new product, events, and other opportunities.
- Work alongside our ecommerce photographers during product and lifestyle shoots.
- Capture additional social-first, behind-the-scenes, and lifestyle content during shoots.
- Identify opportunities to repurpose content across social, email, SMS, and our website.
You should be the person walking into the room saying, "Here's what we're filming today," with the concept, script, product, and plan ready to go.
Email, SMS & Digital Marketing
- Work closely with our email marketing team to develop campaign concepts and provide the imagery, messaging, product direction, and creative assets needed for execution.
- Review emails to ensure they meet company standards and accurately represent each brand.
- Plan and execute SMS marketing for both brands.
- Coordinate social, email, and SMS so promotions, launches, events, and other initiatives have cohesive messaging.
- Create polished, on-brand graphics in Canva for social media, website banners, promotions, events, and other digital marketing needs.
Ownership & Leadership
Ownership is one of the most important parts of this position.
We are looking for someone who sees opportunities before they are pointed out, comes to the table with ideas, and takes responsibility for moving them forward.
This person should constantly be thinking about what our customers want to see, what's happening in fashion and social media, what products and stories we should be highlighting, what content we're missing, and what we should try next.
We want this person to lead the way, not wait for someone else within the company to create the marketing plan for them.
Who We're Looking For
- Creative and constantly generating new ideas.
- Self-motivated and comfortable owning their area of the business.
- Highly organized and able to manage two brands and multiple marketing channels.
- Highly proficient with Instagram, TikTok, and Canva.
- Experienced filming and editing short-form video.
- Comfortable directing others on camera and appearing on camera themselves.
- A strong writer with an understanding of how messaging changes across social, email, and SMS.
- Able to plan ahead while moving quickly when trends or opportunities arise.
- Fashion-forward with a strong visual eye and understanding of the fashion customer.
- Collaborative, confident, detail-oriented, and able to take projects from idea through execution.
- Comfortable regularly traveling between store locations for content creation and collaboration.
Qualifications
- Previous professional experience in social media, digital marketing, content creation, brand marketing, or a related role.
- Demonstrated experience managing brand social media accounts.
- Strong portfolio of social media and/or marketing work.
- Experience creating content for Instagram and TikTok.
- Canva proficiency required.
- Short-form video filming and editing experience required.
- Email and SMS marketing experience preferred, but not required.
- Fashion, retail, ecommerce, beauty, lifestyle, or another visually driven brand experience preferred.
- Ability to travel regularly between store locations as part of the normal workweek.
Candidates should be prepared to provide examples of social media accounts, videos, graphics, campaigns, or other marketing content they have personally created or managed.
Schedule & Weekend Expectations
This is a full-time, Monday–Friday position. However, because Saturday and Sunday are two of our most important retail days, our social media presence must remain active throughout the weekend.
The Fashion Social Media & Marketing Manager is responsible for ensuring weekend content is planned, created, and scheduled in advance. Regular in-person weekend work is not expected.
Because social media is a real-time channel, there may occasionally be situations where a timely post, Story, repost, or adjustment is needed over the weekend. The person in this role should be comfortable with reasonable weekend flexibility when necessary.

Fashion Jobs in Pennsylvania: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a fashion in Pennsylvania?
Most fashion roles in Pennsylvania do not require a state-issued license, but employers consistently prefer candidates with a bachelor's degree in fashion design, merchandising, fashion business, or a related field from an accredited program. Schools such as Philadelphia University (now part of Thomas Jefferson University) and the Art Institute of Philadelphia have produced graduates who enter Pennsylvania's retail and design sectors. Building a strong portfolio and gaining internship experience with Pennsylvania-based brands or retailers is the most direct path to landing your first professional role.
Which companies hire fashions in Pennsylvania?
Employers hiring fashions in Pennsylvania right now include Walmart, Cherry Hill Programs, and H&M, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Philadelphia's status as home to major apparel and lifestyle brands means Pennsylvania consistently generates some of the strongest fashion hiring volumes on the East Coast outside New York.
Which Pennsylvania cities have the most fashion jobs?
Philadelphia, Shippensburg, and Media have the most fashion openings in Pennsylvania. Philadelphia drives the bulk of demand as the state's largest city and retail hub, home to headquartered apparel brands and dense concentrations of boutiques, department stores, and wholesale showrooms, while Pittsburgh and the Lehigh Valley contribute openings tied to regional retail chains and distribution-linked merchandising operations.
Are there remote fashion jobs in Pennsylvania?
Yes, but they're less common than in purely desk-based fields, since many fashion roles involve on-site fittings, showroom work, visual merchandising, or hands-on production. About 25% of fashion openings tied to Pennsylvania are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting a real but selective slice of available work. The roles most likely to be fully remote are e-commerce merchandising, fashion copywriting, digital marketing, and trend research positions.
How can I get hired as a fashion in Pennsylvania with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is a retail sales associate or visual merchandising assistant role at a Pennsylvania-based retailer, which gives direct exposure to buying cycles, inventory, and brand standards. Urban Outfitters and Anthropologie, both rooted in Philadelphia, have historically hired entry-level associates and offered internal mobility into buying and merchandising. Completing an internship through Thomas Jefferson University's fashion program or a similar Pennsylvania institution, and arriving with a focused portfolio, can move a candidate past the screening stage even without paid work history.
Where can I find and apply to fashion jobs in Pennsylvania?
You can find and apply to fashion jobs in Pennsylvania on Migrate Mate, which lists current Pennsylvania openings updated regularly. Search the available roles, find ones that match your background and target location, and apply directly to the positions that fit.
