Field Manager Jobs in Miami: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a field manager job in Miami?
Focus your search on Miami's construction boom in Brickell and Edgewater, the port logistics operations around PortMiami, and the utilities and infrastructure contractors working throughout Miami-Dade County. Candidates with bilingual English and Spanish communication skills and hands-on experience managing crews in Florida's climate conditions stand out. Pursuing openings with general contractors, MEP subcontractors, and property management firms gives you the strongest footing in this market.
Which companies hire field managers in Miami?
Companies currently hiring field managers in Miami include Havas STREET, DHL, and Subway, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Miami's employer mix leans heavily toward general contractors, real estate developers, utility and infrastructure firms, and property management companies operating across Miami-Dade and Broward counties.
Are there remote field manager jobs in Miami?
Yes, though remote work is limited by nature for field manager roles, since most require on-site crew oversight and physical inspections. About 40% of field manager openings tied to Miami are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, with those options appearing most often in project coordination, scheduling, and reporting functions rather than hands-on field operations.
How can I get a field manager job in Miami with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Miami is starting as a field technician, crew lead, or assistant project coordinator with a mid-size general contractor or property management firm in areas like Doral or Hialeah, where smaller companies often promote from within. Familiarity with construction safety standards, basic scheduling software, and bilingual communication in English and Spanish gives entry-level candidates a measurable edge with local Miami employers.
Which industries hire the most field managers in Miami?
The sectors hiring the most field managers in Miami are Manufacturing, Food & Beverage, and Government & Public Sector, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026.
