Field Operations Coordinator Jobs in Delaware: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a field operations coordinator in Delaware?
Most Delaware employers look for a bachelor's degree in operations management, business administration, logistics, or a closely related field alongside direct field or project experience. There is no state-issued license specific to field operations coordinators in Delaware, but roles in regulated industries such as chemicals, utilities, or environmental services may require relevant industry certifications like PMP or OSHA compliance training. Starting in a dispatcher, operations assistant, or field technician role at a Delaware employer is the most common entry path.
Which companies hire field operations coordinators in Delaware?
Companies currently hiring field operations coordinators in Delaware include ChristianaCare, AMETEK, and FELDER KG, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Delaware's concentration of chemical manufacturers, life sciences firms, and financial services headquarters along the Wilmington corridor means demand stays consistent across both corporate campus and distributed field environments.
Which Delaware cities have the most field operations coordinator jobs?
The cities with the most field operations coordinator openings in Delaware are Newark, Wilmington, and Dover. Wilmington leads because it anchors Delaware's corporate headquarters corridor and hosts the largest concentration of financial services and chemical industry employers, while Newark benefits from its proximity to the University of Delaware research ecosystem and manufacturing operations, and Dover draws demand from state government agencies and infrastructure-focused contractors serving central Delaware.
Are there remote field operations coordinator jobs in Delaware?
Yes, but they're rare. Field operations coordinators are primarily on-site roles that require direct oversight of personnel, equipment, or facilities, so fully remote positions are uncommon. About 44% of field operations coordinator openings tied to Delaware are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, and the portions most likely to be remote are administrative scheduling, reporting, and vendor communication tasks rather than the core field supervision work.
How can I get hired as a field operations coordinator in Delaware with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is to start in an operations assistant, field technician, or logistics coordinator role at one of Delaware's larger employers in chemicals, life sciences, or facilities management, then move into coordination duties as you build site knowledge. Employers like Chemours and major Wilmington-area property management companies regularly bring on associate-level operations staff and develop them internally. Earning an OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification and gaining proficiency with work order management platforms gives candidates a clear edge over other entry-level applicants.
Where can I find and apply to field operations coordinator jobs in Delaware?
You can find and apply to field operations coordinator jobs in Delaware on Migrate Mate, which lists current Delaware openings updated in real time. Search the available roles, identify the ones that match your background and location preferences, and apply directly to those positions.
