Who's Hiring

Field Operations Coordinator Jobs in Providence: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a field operations coordinator job in Providence?
Target Providence's strongest hiring sectors: healthcare networks anchored around the Jewelry District, utilities and infrastructure firms operating along the Woonasquatucket corridor, and logistics companies near the Port of Providence and I-95 interchange. Candidates who can demonstrate hands-on coordination experience in multi-site or field environments stand out. Familiarity with Providence's neighborhoods and local vendor networks gives you a genuine edge over out-of-state applicants.
Which companies hire field operations coordinators in Providence?
Employers hiring field operations coordinators in Providence right now include Gilbane, Roche, and Ampelmann, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Providence's hiring mix skews toward healthcare systems, utilities, and regional logistics operators that maintain active field teams across the city and surrounding communities.
Are there remote field operations coordinator jobs in Providence?
Yes, though sparingly. Field operations coordinator work is inherently hands-on, so fully remote roles are uncommon, while hybrid arrangements are more realistic. About 0% of field operations coordinator openings tied to Providence are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, typically covering scheduling, reporting, and vendor coordination duties. On-site presence is usually required for inspections, team oversight, and client-facing field activities.
How can I get a field operations coordinator job in Providence with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Providence is through logistics, facilities, or healthcare operations support roles, where employers regularly hire coordinators at the assistant or associate level. Providence-area healthcare systems and utilities often post entry-level field or operations associate positions that feed into coordinator tracks. Building familiarity with scheduling software, field reporting tools, and local geography across Providence's neighborhoods makes early applications more competitive.
