Field Representative Jobs in Los Angeles: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a field representative job in Los Angeles?
Focus your search on Los Angeles's largest field-intensive sectors: healthcare networks, investor-owned utilities, and fast-moving consumer goods distributors concentrated in the South Bay and San Gabriel Valley. Bilingual fluency in Spanish or Korean gives you a measurable edge in many local territories. Candidates with prior route sales, community outreach, or account servicing experience in LA's dense urban markets tend to move through hiring faster than applicants without local territory knowledge.
Which companies hire field representatives in Los Angeles?
Los Angeles field representative roles are posted by Amgen, Google, and Tilray and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of November 2026. The local employer mix leans heavily toward regional healthcare systems, entertainment-adjacent media distributors, and large-scale utility and telecom providers that maintain extensive field operations across LA County.
Are there remote field representative jobs in Los Angeles?
Yes, though field representative roles are hands-on by nature, so fully remote positions are less common than in purely desk-based fields. About 50% of field representative openings tied to Los Angeles are remote or hybrid as of November 2026, with the most flexibility found in data reporting, client follow-up, and territory planning functions rather than in-person site visits.
How can I get a field representative job in Los Angeles with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Los Angeles is through community outreach or canvassing roles with nonprofits, public health agencies, or utilities running large residential programs across neighborhoods like Boyle Heights, Inglewood, and the East Valley. These positions build the territory management and direct contact skills LA employers look for. Volunteering with county-run programs or regional advocacy organizations also produces the verifiable field hours that help entry-level candidates stand out locally.
