Mid Level Field Sales Consultant Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a mid level field sales consultant job?
Position yourself around ownership and outcomes rather than tasks completed. Highlight deals you closed independently, territories you managed, and clients you retained or expanded without direct supervision. Quantify your impact wherever you can, revenue generated, conversion rates improved, or accounts grown. Tailor your resume to show you operate with autonomy and can be trusted to represent the company in the field.
Which companies hire mid level field sales consultants?
Companies hiring mid level field sales consultants right now include EY, EisnerAmper, and PwC, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Hiring at this level tends to come from established organizations with defined sales territories that need proven professionals who can produce results without heavy onboarding.
Are there remote mid level field sales consultant jobs?
Yes, though field sales roles by nature involve some in-person work with clients. About 48% of mid level field sales consultant openings are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, meaning many positions offer flexibility between home-based admin work and on-site client meetings rather than requiring a fixed office presence five days a week.
How do I move up to a mid level field sales consultant role?
The progression from entry level to mid level is built on consistent, measurable impact over time. Focus on owning your assigned accounts fully, hitting quota without requiring check-ins, and developing client relationships that lead to renewals or upsells. Taking initiative on territory planning, learning your industry deeply, and demonstrating you can mentor newer reps signals you are ready for the broader responsibility that mid level roles carry.
Which industries hire the most mid level field sales consultants?
Mid Level field sales consultant roles concentrate in Accounting & Auditing, Consulting & Professional Services, and Technology & Software, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. These sectors tend to rely on relationship-driven sales cycles and physical presence with clients, which makes experienced field consultants who can work independently particularly valuable at the mid level.
