ABOUT VEG

How do I get a field specialist job in Dallas?
Target the sectors driving the most Dallas hiring: energy and utilities, telecommunications infrastructure, and industrial services. Companies headquartered along the Stemmons Corridor and in Las Colinas post field specialist openings frequently, as do the regional offices of large energy and telecom operators in Uptown and Downtown. Candidates with hands-on equipment experience, a clean driving record, and familiarity with Texas Gulf Coast industrial operations have a clear edge in this market.
Which companies hire field specialists in Dallas?

Dallas draws a mix of Fortune 500 corporate offices and regional field operations hubs, so openings range from enterprise-level employers in the Uptown corridor to mid-size specialists serving North Texas industrial and infrastructure clients.
Are there remote field specialist jobs in Dallas?
Yes, though remote availability depends heavily on the role: hands-on, site-based positions are rarely remote, while data analysis, reporting, and account coordination functions within field specialist teams are more commonly hybrid. About 44% of field specialist openings tied to Dallas are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, reflecting that split. In Dallas specifically, technical and client-facing field roles tied to energy and telecom infrastructure tend to require regular on-site presence across North Texas and the DFW metroplex.
How can I get a field specialist job in Dallas with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Dallas is through technician or field service representative roles at utilities, telecom companies, and industrial equipment distributors concentrated in the Stemmons Corridor and Irving. These employers regularly hire candidates with associate degrees, trade certifications, or military technical backgrounds into junior field roles. Dallas-area community colleges also partner with regional energy and infrastructure employers on apprenticeship pipelines that feed directly into field specialist tracks.
