Partnerships Manager Jobs in Texas: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a partnerships manager in Texas?
Most partnerships manager roles in Texas require a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or communications combined with prior experience in sales, account management, or business development. Texas does not require a state-issued license for this role. Hiring managers in Austin and Dallas tech hubs increasingly value a Certified Partnership Professional credential or demonstrated SaaS ecosystem experience. Building a portfolio of closed partnerships or co-sell agreements strengthens any application significantly.
Which companies hire partnerships managers in Texas?
Employers hiring partnerships managers in Texas right now include Amazon, KPMG, and Burns & McDonnell, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. Texas's concentration of Fortune 500 headquarters, major technology firms, and large regional healthcare systems makes it one of the deepest markets in the country for this role.
Which Texas cities have the most partnerships manager jobs?
Houston, Austin, and Dallas account for the largest share of partnerships manager openings in Texas. Austin's dense technology and SaaS company ecosystem drives high demand there, Dallas's financial services and telecommunications headquarters anchor that market, and Houston's energy, healthcare, and logistics industries generate steady openings for partnerships professionals with industry-specific expertise.
Are there remote partnerships manager jobs in Texas?
Yes, and more than most fields. Partnerships management is largely relationship and communication driven, making it well suited to remote and hybrid arrangements. About 25% of partnerships manager openings tied to Texas are remote or hybrid as of June 2026, reflecting how widely technology and SaaS companies in the state have embraced flexible work. Strategic and enterprise-facing partnership roles tend to carry the most remote flexibility.
How can I get hired as a partnerships manager in Texas with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is moving laterally from a sales development, account management, or marketing coordinator role at a Texas employer that already runs a partner program. Large Austin-area technology companies and Dallas-based enterprise software firms often promote from within through rotational or associate programs designed for early-career candidates. Building familiarity with Salesforce and pursuing an entry-level business development role at a company with a formal channel or alliance function gives candidates a concrete foothold.
Where can I find and apply to partnerships manager jobs in Texas?
You can find and apply to partnerships manager jobs in Texas on Migrate Mate, which lists current Texas openings across industries and metro areas. Find roles that fit your experience and location, then apply directly to each employer through the listing.
