About the role

A Commercial Proposal Specialist is responsible for assisting with the end-to-end bidding and proposal process for contracts while also providing operational and administrative support to the sales team.

The Commercial Proposal Specialist will support the commercial sales team in securing utility-scale wind energy contracts. This position oversees the administrative and operational life cycle of formal requests for proposals (RFPs) and tenders. The coordinator ensures all technical specifications, logistical planning, supply chain costs, and compliance documentation seamlessly align to form highly competitive bids.

This full-time role requires working in the office located in Flower Mound, Texas.

Key responsibilities

The role covers several key areas, including but not limited to the following:

• Support end-to-end tender activities, ensuring timely, compliant, and high-quality proposals for global clients.

• Prepare, review, and optimize bid, proposal, contract, and sales documentation, including pricing and project budget calculations.

• Advise the sales team on contract terms, bid or proposal requirements, and commercial considerations in coordination with Legal and Commercial managers.

• Coordinate input from cross-functional stakeholders across Sales, Legal, Finance, QHSE, and Operations for accurate submissions.

• Maintain and update sales systems, pipelines, templates, and tools to support efficient tender processes.

• Provide expertise in proposals, bid, and sales support, contributing to process improvements and streamlined back-office operations.

• Organize and distribute pre-qualification questionnaires (PQQs) to internal technical and compliance divisions.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, renewable energy, or a related field.

• 2+ years of experience working with complex Business to Business (B2B) proposals, contract bidding, or project coordination.

• Any equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be substituted for the above.

• Proficiency with advanced spreadsheet modeling (Excel) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.

• Possession of a valid driver’s license.

Preferred

• Direct experience in wind energy, heavy construction, or power generation infrastructure is highly preferred.

• Knowledge of sales processes, business/project lifecycle, and compliance requirements.

• Strong communication, stakeholder coordination, and client-focused approach.

• High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and reporting.
