Employees of UNCA are provided with a comprehensive benefits package as well as other resources, policies and programs to ensure a happy and healthy work/life balance. Benefit eligible employees have access to dental, vision and health insurance plans – eligibility begins on the first of the month following date of hire. Retirement plan contributions begin on the eligibility date following election and include employer contributions for either a defined contribution or a defined benefit plan. Reporting to the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs and Enrollment Management, the Enrollment Initiatives & Partnerships Manager serves as the operational project manager for strategic enrollment management (SEM) strategy within the Division of Student Affairs and Enrollment Management. This position is expected to play a key role in driving institutional growth and retention. This position bridges divisional programming, institutional data, and cross-campus collaboration to drive measurable improvements in enrollment, persistence, and graduation. The Manager ensures that SEM initiatives are planned, tracked, assessed, and communicated with fidelity by translating the University enrollment planning into coordinated action.

The Enrollment Initiatives & Partnerships Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality collaborative enrollment plans and seamless onboarding support that meets needs of all students. This position supports prospective and returning students throughout the admissions, enrollment, financial aid, and overall college life-cycle. This position serves as a primary point of contact for students and families, providing personalized guidance to help students navigate challenges and barriers to enrollment and retention.

The Enrollment Initiatives & Partnerships Manager should be knowledgeable of and ensure compliance with all institutional, UNC System, state and federal regulations. The Enrollment Management Coordinator should also represent the University, serve on committees as needed, and elevate relevant information to the University leadership and community as appropriate.

Master’s degree. Demonstrated experience managing institutional projects or initiatives from planning through assessment. Demonstrated success in working with a team. Experience developing strong teams fostered by a collaborative culture. A commitment to fostering collaborative culture. Familiarity with Slate (Technolutions) and the UNC System is a plus.

Possess strong critical thinking skills, curiosity, administrative acumen, experience in budget management, a commitment to staff development, and a passion for empowering students through the college admission process.
