Partnerships Manager Jobs in New York: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a partnerships manager in New York?
Partnerships manager roles in New York do not require a state-issued license or certification. Most employers hire candidates with a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or communications, combined with experience in sales, account management, or business development. New York's dense concentration of technology, media, and financial services companies means that industry-specific knowledge, such as familiarity with ad tech platforms or financial products, often carries as much weight as formal credentials.
Which companies hire partnerships managers in New York?
Employers hiring partnerships managers in New York right now include TikTok, Veo, and Mercury, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. New York's role as a headquarters city for major media, finance, and technology companies means partnerships teams here tend to manage high-value national and global accounts rather than purely regional ones.
Which New York cities have the most partnerships manager jobs?
New York, Brooklyn, and Albany have the most partnerships manager openings in New York. New York City dominates the distribution because it is home to the U.S. headquarters of major technology platforms, media conglomerates, and financial institutions, while suburban markets like White Plains and Albany reflect demand from regional corporate offices and state government-adjacent organizations.
Are there remote partnerships manager jobs in New York?
Yes, and more than most fields. Partnerships management is largely a relationship and communication-driven desk role, which makes it well suited to remote and hybrid arrangements. About 68% of partnerships manager openings tied to New York are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, reflecting how broadly New York employers have adopted flexible work for this function. Roles focused on platform integrations and digital channel management tend to be the most remote-friendly.
How can I get hired as a partnerships manager in New York with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is moving from an adjacent role such as account coordinator, business development representative, or marketing associate, which are all common stepping stones at New York-based technology and media companies. Large employers including Verizon, Spotify, and Publicis Group regularly hire into associate partnerships or partner operations roles that do not require prior partnerships management experience. Building a portfolio of cross-functional projects or vendor relationships in a current role strengthens any application significantly.
Where can I find and apply to partnerships manager jobs in New York?
You can find and apply to partnerships manager jobs in New York on Migrate Mate, which lists current openings across New York City, White Plains, Albany, and other markets in the state. Find roles that fit your experience and apply directly from each listing.
