Partnerships Manager Jobs in Colorado: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a partnerships manager in Colorado?
Partnerships manager roles in Colorado do not require a state-issued license or certification. Most employers expect a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field, combined with experience in sales, account management, or business development. Building a portfolio of measurable partnership outcomes and gaining familiarity with Colorado's dominant industries, such as technology, aerospace, and outdoor brands, strengthens a candidacy considerably.
Which companies hire partnerships managers in Colorado?
Colorado partnerships manager roles are posted by Angi, DaVita, and gravitee.io and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Colorado's concentration of technology companies, aerospace contractors, and consumer brands along the Front Range makes it one of the more active states for partnership-focused hiring.
Which Colorado cities have the most partnerships manager jobs?
Denver, Aurora, and Boulder account for the largest share of partnerships manager openings in Colorado. Denver anchors the market as the state's main commercial and technology hub, home to major corporate headquarters and regional offices, while Boulder's startup and SaaS ecosystem and Colorado Springs' defense and aerospace contractors create consistent demand in those metros as well.
Are there remote partnerships manager jobs in Colorado?
Yes, and more than most fields. About 86% of partnerships manager openings tied to Colorado are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, reflecting how relationship-driven and digitally managed this work has become. Roles focused on technology partner ecosystems, SaaS channel programs, and digital alliance management tend to offer the most flexibility, while enterprise or government-facing partnership roles more often require on-site presence.
How can I get hired as a partnerships manager in Colorado with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is through a sales development, account management, or business development representative role at one of Colorado's technology or SaaS companies, then moving laterally into a junior partnerships function. Companies like Ping Identity, Vertafore, and Zayo have historically hired associate-level business development staff who transition into partner programs over time. A demonstrated record of managing external relationships, even in a sales capacity, combined with familiarity with partner relationship management tools, gives candidates a concrete edge when applying to entry-level partnerships openings.
