Financial Analyst Jobs in Dallas: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a financial analyst job in Dallas?
Focus your search on Dallas's three strongest hiring sectors: financial services firms clustered in Uptown and the Arts District, energy companies headquartered in the central business district, and the large corporate finance teams at regional and national companies based in Las Colinas and Frisco. Candidates who combine CFA progress with Excel modeling experience and knowledge of energy or real estate markets stand out in this market.
Which companies hire financial analysts in Dallas?
Employers hiring financial analysts in Dallas right now include UT Southwestern Medical Center, Care, and Leonardo DRS, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. Dallas draws a wide mix of large regional banks, Fortune 500 corporate headquarters, private equity firms, and independent energy companies, all with active finance teams.
Are there remote financial analyst jobs in Dallas?
Yes, though financial analyst roles lean more hybrid than fully remote, since many positions involve regular collaboration with treasury, accounting, and business unit teams on-site. About 44% of financial analyst openings tied to Dallas are remote or hybrid as of June 2026, with flexibility most common in FP&A and reporting roles at larger corporate employers in the northern suburbs.
How can I get a financial analyst job in Dallas with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Dallas is through a junior financial analyst or financial analyst associate role at one of the city's many large corporate finance departments, particularly at healthcare systems, real estate firms, and regional banks that actively recruit recent graduates. Internships at Dallas-based energy companies or rotational finance programs at corporate headquarters in Plano and Irving also build a strong foundation. A finance or accounting degree from a Texas university carries real weight with local hiring managers.
Which industries hire the most financial analysts in Dallas?
Most financial analyst openings in Dallas sit in Investment & Asset Management, Technology & Software, and Agriculture & Farming, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. Dallas's role as a regional headquarters hub for energy, banking, and healthcare drives consistent demand for financial analysts who can support forecasting, reporting, and strategic planning at scale.
