Entry Level Fund Accountant Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level fund accountant job?
Employers hiring at this level look for candidates with a degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, plus familiarity with NAV calculations, fund accounting software, or reconciliation work from internships or coursework. Highlighting specific technical skills, any exposure to private equity or hedge fund structures, and a CPA pursuit signals you are ready to contribute from day one.
Which companies hire entry level fund accountants?
Companies hiring entry level fund accountants right now include Standish Management, CSC, and Standish Management, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Hiring at this level comes from a mix of fund administrators, asset managers, and financial services firms that build their accounting teams from the junior level up.
Are there remote entry level fund accountant jobs?
Yes, though most openings at this level lean on-site. About 42% of entry level fund accountant openings are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, so candidates open to in-office roles will find the broadest selection. Hybrid arrangements are more common at larger fund administrators than at boutique firms.
Are these new grad fund accountant jobs?
Yes. This page includes new grad, recent graduate, and junior fund accountant roles alongside other entry level postings. A new grad friendly posting typically welcomes zero to two years of experience, accepts internships or relevant coursework in place of full-time history, and does not require a CPA to apply, though candidates working toward one often have an edge.
Which industries hire the most entry level fund accountants?
Entry Level fund accountant roles concentrate in Consulting & Professional Services, Investment & Asset Management, and Banking & Financial Services, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. These sectors rely on dedicated fund accounting teams to handle NAV reporting, investor allocations, and audit support, making them consistent sources of junior hiring throughout the year.
