We are seeking a detail-oriented Buyer to manage our indirect supply procurement and potentially learning the direct supply procurement. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing supplier relationships to ensure cost-effective and high-quality purchases. You will play a critical role in supporting internal customer demand, maintaining purchasing compliance and maintaining adequate indirect supplies to support the company operations.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best pricing, quality, and delivery terms.
- Manage vendor onboarding, offboarding processes.
- Manage vendor relationships, including but not limited to, performance evaluation and contract management.
- Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with internal teams to forecast purchasing needs.
- Process purchase orders, track shipments, ensure vendors are paid timely and resolve any issues within the procure-to-pay process.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and lead procurement process improvement initiatives.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, supplier agreements and pricings.
- Collaborate with finance and cross-functional teams to align purchasing with budget as well as proper payments to vendors.

- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel to support analytical requirements.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- 2-3 years of Purchasing experience with related associate degree or high school diploma; bachelor degree in business or supply chain management is preferred.
- Experience in a small business or startup environment working with FDA compliances is preferred.
