Green Card Clinical Case Review Jobs
Clinical Case Review roles attract EB-2 and EB-3 green card sponsorship from health plans, managed care organizations, and hospital systems that need credentialed professionals to evaluate medical necessity and treatment decisions. PERM labor certification is the standard sponsorship pathway, requiring your employer to document that no qualified U.S. worker is available before filing your I-140 petition.

Document your clinical credentials before applying
PERM requires your employer to verify your qualifications match the job requirements exactly. Gather your nursing license, clinical certifications, and degree transcripts early so the labor certification audit trail reflects your credentials accurately from day one.
Target managed care employers with PERM history
Health insurers and managed care organizations file PERM applications regularly for utilization review and case management roles. Search OFLC disclosure data to identify which employers have certified Clinical Case Review positions in the past three years.
Clarify whether the role qualifies for EB-2 or EB-3
If the position requires only a bachelor's degree in nursing or health administration, it typically lands in EB-3. Roles requiring a master's degree in clinical informatics, health services, or a related field may qualify for EB-2, affecting your priority date timeline.
Use Migrate Mate to find sponsoring employers fast
Sorting through OFLC filings manually takes hours. Migrate Mate filters Clinical Case Review roles by employers with active green card sponsorship history, so you apply only where PERM sponsorship is a realistic outcome.
Confirm the PERM job description mirrors your actual duties
DOL audits compare the certified job description against what you actually do on the job. Before signing an offer, ask your employer to confirm the PERM description reflects real daily responsibilities, not a generic posting, to avoid a denial or revocation later.
Understand concurrent filing if your priority date is current
If your country of birth and your EB category have a current priority date in the USCIS Visa Bulletin, your employer can file the I-140 and your I-485 adjustment of status application simultaneously, cutting months off your wait for permanent residency.
Green Card Clinical Case Review: Frequently Asked Questions
Do Clinical Case Review employers commonly sponsor green cards?
Yes. Managed care organizations, hospital systems, and health insurers regularly sponsor EB-2 and EB-3 green cards for clinical case reviewers, utilization review nurses, and medical necessity analysts. These roles require specialized clinical judgment that employers document through PERM labor certification to justify sponsoring a foreign professional over a U.S. applicant.
How does EB-3 green card sponsorship differ from H-1B for this role?
H-1B visa is a temporary nonimmigrant status subject to an annual lottery, capped at 85,000 registrations each fiscal year. EB-3 green card sponsorship through PERM leads to lawful permanent residency with no annual lottery. The PERM process takes longer upfront, typically one to two years before the I-140 is approved, but the outcome is permanent status rather than a renewable temporary visa.
What credentials do I need for a Clinical Case Review green card sponsorship to succeed?
Most PERM-certified Clinical Case Review positions require a registered nursing license, a relevant bachelor's degree, and clinical experience in a specialty such as utilization management, case management, or medical necessity review. Some EB-2 roles add a master's degree requirement. Your credentials must match the PERM job description precisely, and DOL may audit supporting documentation during the labor certification process.
Where can I find Clinical Case Review jobs that offer green card sponsorship?
Migrate Mate aggregates Clinical Case Review roles from employers with documented PERM and I-140 filing history, so you can filter specifically for positions where green card sponsorship is already part of the employer's hiring process rather than something you need to negotiate from scratch.
Can my employer start PERM while I'm working in the U.S. on another visa status?
Yes. PERM labor certification is employer-driven and can begin regardless of your current immigration status, whether you're on H-1B, OPT, or another nonimmigrant status. USCIS requires only that you be admissible and eligible to adjust status at the time you file Form I-485, not at the time PERM is filed.
