Green Card Customer Success Manager Jobs
Customer Success Manager roles qualify for EB-2 and EB-3 green card sponsorship through PERM labor certification when the position requires a bachelor's degree in business, communications, or a related field. Employers file on your behalf, making sponsorship a function of finding the right employer as much as the right role.

INTRODUCTION
As a Customer Success Manager at Lone Wolf, you will own the ongoing success of a portfolio of customers and help them achieve meaningful business outcomes through our solutions. You will serve as a trusted advisor, customer advocate, and internal orchestrator across the post-sale journey. Your role is to understand what success means for each customer, translate those goals into a clear plan, drive adoption and value realization, identify risk early, and coordinate the right resources to keep the customer moving forward. This is not simply a relationship-management or issue-escalation role. Our Customer Success Managers are expected to take accountability for the customer experience, lead with insight, maintain strong operational discipline, and ensure customers and internal teams have a clear understanding of goals, progress, risks, and next steps.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
What You’ll Do:
- Own Customer Outcomes: Develop a deep understanding of each customer’s business, priorities, workflows, stakeholders, and desired outcomes. Translate those objectives into clear success criteria, milestones, and an actionable customer Success Plan.
- Drive Adoption and Value: Use product knowledge, customer conversations, usage data, and business context to identify adoption gaps and opportunities. Guide customers toward the workflows and behaviors that will help them realize greater value from Lone Wolf solutions.
- Lead Proactive Engagement: Conduct regular, proactive virtual meetings (1:1 or group) based on customer needs, segment, risk, and opportunity. Lead purposeful conversations to share updates & insights, provide best practices, address obstacles, and ensure clients are deriving ongoing value from their investment.
- Manage Customer Health and Risk: Continuously assess customer health indicators and usage data to proactively identify potential risks early, diagnose root causes, and lead documented recovery plans with clear actions, owners, timelines, and communication.
- Orchestrate the Customer Experience: Coordinate effectively across Support, implementation, Product, Sales, and other teams to deliver a connected customer experience. While you may not personally perform every action, you will maintain ownership of customer communication, internal alignment, and follow-through.
- Build Renewal Readiness: Ensure customers are positioned for renewal by helping them achieve measurable value, maintaining strong stakeholder alignment, and surfacing risks well before the renewal date. Partner closely with Sales or the appropriate commercial owner to provide an accurate, evidence-based view of account health, outcomes, and renewal risk.
- Contribute to Team Excellence: Share knowledge, contribute ideas, strengthen playbooks and best practices, and help build a culture of accountability, learning, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Document your degree field precisely
PERM requires your degree to align with the specific Customer Success Manager role description. A business administration or communications degree typically satisfies the specialty occupation standard, but a degree in an unrelated field can trigger a Request for Evidence.
Target SaaS companies with PERM filing history
Customer Success Manager roles are concentrated in SaaS and enterprise software. These companies routinely sponsor foreign nationals and already have immigration counsel on retainer, which shortens the time between offer and PERM filing.
Search green card sponsoring employers on Migrate Mate
Use Migrate Mate to filter Customer Success Manager openings by employers with active EB-2 and EB-3 sponsorship history, so you're applying to companies already set up to run PERM rather than ones that are new to the process.
Ask about PERM timeline before accepting an offer
EB-3 PERM labor certification currently averages over a year from filing to I-140 approval. Confirm whether the employer will start PERM immediately after your start date or after a probationary period that delays your priority date.
Understand how EB-2 versus EB-3 affects your wait
If your role requires only a bachelor's degree, it will likely be filed under EB-3. Nationals from countries with long EB-3 backlogs should ask whether the position can support an EB-2 filing based on a higher degree or professional credentials.
Confirm the employer uses the DOL prevailing wage correctly
PERM requires your offered wage to meet or exceed the DOL prevailing wage for your job zone and location. Before signing an offer, cross-check the role's wage level against the OFLC Wage Search to ensure the employer isn't filing at a wage that will fail audit.
Green Card Customer Success Manager: Frequently Asked Questions
Does a Customer Success Manager role qualify for EB-2 or EB-3 green card sponsorship?
Customer Success Manager positions typically qualify under EB-3 as skilled workers or professionals when they require a bachelor's degree. EB-2 is available if the role specifically requires an advanced degree or if the candidate holds a master's degree and the employer structures the position requirements accordingly. USCIS evaluates the actual job duties and minimum educational requirements stated in the PERM application, not the candidate's highest credential alone.
How does PERM green card sponsorship differ from H-1B sponsorship for Customer Success Manager roles?
H-1B visa grants temporary work authorization for up to six years, requires annual lottery selection for most candidates, and doesn't lead to permanent residency on its own. PERM-based green card sponsorship has no annual cap at the petition level and results in lawful permanent residency. The tradeoff is timeline: PERM labor certification, I-140 approval, and adjustment of status together take several years, while an approved H-1B can let you start work within months.
What does the PERM labor certification process require from a Customer Success Manager employer?
The employer must conduct a DOL-supervised recruitment campaign to demonstrate no qualified U.S. workers are available for the role. This includes job postings, internal notices, and documented rejection of U.S. applicants. The employer then files the PERM application with DOL, certifying the offered wage meets the prevailing wage standard. USCIS reviews the I-140 petition only after DOL certifies the labor market test. The entire process is employer-driven, not applicant-driven.
How do I find Customer Success Manager jobs where the employer is already willing to sponsor a green card?
Employers with prior PERM filing history are significantly more likely to sponsor again because they have established relationships with immigration attorneys and internal processes already in place. Migrate Mate lets you search Customer Success Manager openings filtered by employers with EB-2 and EB-3 sponsorship history, so you can focus your applications on companies that are prepared to run the PERM process rather than those encountering it for the first time.
Can I switch employers during the green card process without losing my place in the queue?
Once your I-140 is approved and has been pending for 180 days or more, portability rules under AC21 allow you to change to a same or similar occupational classification without losing your priority date. Customer Success Manager roles generally fall under the same SOC code family, so a move to a comparable role at a new employer is often portable. Your new employer doesn't need to restart the PERM process, but they must file a new I-140 referencing your original priority date.
