Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Green Card Sponsorship in Director Of Revenue
Document your revenue management credentials strategically
Gather performance records, revenue targets met, and team leadership examples that directly map to the PERM job description. USCIS scrutinizes whether your credentials match the role's advertised requirements, so gaps between your background and the posted position can stall the I-140.
Target employers with PERM filing history
Search the OFLC Wage Search to identify companies that have filed PERM applications for Director of Revenue or similar revenue leadership roles. Employers already familiar with the PERM process move faster and are far less likely to abandon sponsorship mid-application.
Find green card sponsoring roles through Migrate Mate
Search Director of Revenue positions filtered by employment-based sponsorship on Migrate Mate. The platform surfaces employers actively filing PERM and I-140 petitions, so you're not guessing which companies will sponsor permanent residency for senior revenue roles.
Verify the prevailing wage tier before accepting an offer
Directors of Revenue typically fall under SOC code 11-2022 (Sales Managers) or 13-2051 (Financial Analysts). Run your specific job duties through the OFLC Wage Search before negotiating compensation, since PERM requires your offered salary to meet or exceed the certified prevailing wage.
Clarify sponsorship scope during the offer stage
Ask explicitly whether the employer will cover both PERM and the I-140 petition, not just one or the other. Some companies budget only for initial filings and expect you to fund premium processing or responses to USCIS Requests for Evidence out of pocket.
Plan for priority date backlogs if you're from India or China
EB-2 and EB-3 visa backlogs for Indian and Chinese nationals can extend wait times by years even after an approved I-140. Confirm your chargeability country with your employer early, since this directly affects when you can file for adjustment of status.

Find Director Of Revenue JobsDirector Of Revenue Green Card Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does a Director of Revenue role qualify for EB-2 or EB-3 green card sponsorship?
Director of Revenue positions typically qualify under EB-2 when the role requires an advanced degree or the employer demonstrates a bachelor's degree is standard for entry into the occupation. EB-3 applies when a bachelor's degree alone satisfies the requirement. Your employer's PERM application must accurately reflect the minimum educational and experience requirements for the position as normally filled.
How does green card sponsorship differ from H-1B sponsorship for a Director of Revenue?
Green card sponsorship through PERM leads to permanent residency, not a temporary work authorization window. There's no annual lottery and no six-year cap. The tradeoff is timeline: PERM requires a DOL-supervised recruitment process before the employer can file your I-140 petition, which typically adds six to twelve months to the overall process compared to an H-1B change of status.
Which SOC code applies to Director of Revenue roles in a PERM application?
The most common classifications are SOC 11-2022 (Sales Managers) for roles focused on revenue generation and commercial strategy, or SOC 11-1021 (General and Operations Managers) for broader leadership roles. The DOL assigns the prevailing wage based on the SOC code your employer selects, so the classification directly affects your minimum certified salary. Review the O*NET profile for each code to confirm which better matches your actual duties.
How do I find Director of Revenue jobs where the employer will sponsor a green card?
Search Migrate Mate to filter Director of Revenue openings by employers with active employment-based sponsorship history. Many senior revenue roles at mid-size and enterprise companies qualify for PERM sponsorship, but employers don't always advertise it upfront. Filtering by sponsorship history removes the guesswork and lets you focus outreach on companies already familiar with the PERM and I-140 process.
Can I change employers after my PERM is approved but before I receive my green card?
Yes, under AC21 portability rules you can change to a same or similar occupational classification after your I-140 is approved and your I-485 has been pending for at least 180 days. For a Director of Revenue, a move to a comparable revenue leadership role at a new employer generally qualifies. Your new employer does not need to restart the PERM process, but you must notify USCIS of the job change.
