Responsibilities
Kforce has a client in Charlotte, NC that is seeking a Senior Azure Engineer - DevOps Specialist. Responsibilities:
- Design and manage Azure cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Build and maintain Terraform modules for scalable, repeatable deployments
- Develop CI/CD pipelines leveraging GitHub Actions and Azure-native tooling
- Automate cloud operations using Python and Bash scripting
- Support Kubernetes-based container orchestration in Azure environments
- Identify and resolve infrastructure bottlenecks across cloud ecosystems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enforce DevOps best practices
Requirements
- 7+ years of cloud engineering experience with senior-level ownership
- Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure; AWS and/or GCP experience is a plus
- Strong hands-on Terraform experience in production environments
- Advanced GitHub automation experience (GitHub Actions required)
- Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting for infrastructure automation
- Experience with Kubernetes and containerized deployments
- Solid understanding of CloudFormation and multi-cloud architecture principles
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
