- Partner with engineering/product teams to ensure technical credibility and strong proposal quality (architecture fit, SI considerations, materials, test strategy, reliability).
- Ensure robust program management: timelines, risk registers, change control, and customer-facing milestone tracking.
Commercial Leadership & Negotiation:
- Own commercial strategy including pricing frameworks, cost models, margin management, and negotiation approach.
- Lead global negotiations (in partnership with legal/finance) for NDAs, MSAs, SOWs, supply agreements, SLAs, and quality agreements as required.
- Drive forecasting accuracy, demand visibility, and alignment to customer's planning cycles.
Operational Excellence, Quality & Risk Management:
- Align Molex operations and supply chain to meet customer expectations on quality, delivery, reliability, and responsiveness.

Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Green Card Sponsorship as a Global Account Manager
Target multinationals with dedicated immigration programs
Large enterprise software, consulting, and technology firms that run global account teams file PERM petitions regularly. Look for employers who list green card sponsorship in job postings, which signals an existing internal process rather than a one-off commitment.
Search for sponsoring employers on Migrate Mate
Use Migrate Mate to filter Global Account Manager openings by employers with active green card sponsorship history. That narrows your list to companies already familiar with PERM labor certification, cutting the time you spend educating reluctant hiring managers.
Verify the prevailing wage tier before accepting an offer
Your employer must pay at least the DOL prevailing wage for your occupation and location. Look up your role's wage level using the OFLC Wage Search before negotiating, so you know whether a proposed salary satisfies the PERM requirement at Level II or above.
Clarify sponsorship timing during the offer stage
Ask whether the company will initiate PERM filing after you start or only after a probationary period. EB-3 PERM cases typically take six to twelve months just for labor certification, so a delayed start adds meaningful time before you hold an approved I-140.
Align your degree credentials for PERM job requirements
The PERM job description must require a specific degree field, not just any bachelor's degree. If your degree is outside the U.S., get a credential evaluation from a NACES-member agency early so the evaluation is ready when your employer drafts the PERM application.

Find Global Account Manager JobsGlobal Account Manager Green Card Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does a Global Account Manager role qualify for EB-2 or EB-3 green card sponsorship?
Most Global Account Manager positions qualify under EB-3 as skilled workers or professionals when the role requires a bachelor's degree. If the position demands an advanced degree or the candidate holds strong specialized credentials, EB-2 may apply. The employer's PERM job description controls which category fits, and USCIS makes the final determination on classification when reviewing the I-140 petition.
How does PERM green card sponsorship differ from H-1B sponsorship for this role?
H-1B is a temporary status with a two-to-three year initial period and an annual cap lottery at the 85,000 level. EB-3 green card sponsorship through PERM has no annual cap on petitions filed, leads to permanent residency rather than a renewable visa, and lets you keep the priority date if you change jobs after the I-140 is approved. The tradeoff is total timeline: PERM plus I-140 plus adjustment of status often takes two to four years for most-favored countries before you hold a green card.
What does the PERM labor certification process involve for a Global Account Manager?
Your employer files an ETA-9089 application with the DOL demonstrating that no qualified U.S. worker is available for the role at the prevailing wage. This requires a documented recruitment campaign, including job postings and good-faith candidate review, typically completed over 30 to 60 days before filing. The DOL then either certifies or audits the application. Once certified, your employer files the I-140 immigrant petition with USCIS.
How can I find Global Account Manager jobs that include green card sponsorship?
Standard job boards rarely flag which employers have actually completed PERM cases before. Migrate Mate filters Global Account Manager openings specifically by employers with documented green card sponsorship history, so you can prioritize companies that already understand the PERM process and are willing to sponsor foreign professionals for permanent residency rather than just temporary work authorization.
Can I switch employers after my I-140 is approved but before I have a green card?
Yes, under AC21 portability rules, you can change to a same or similar occupation after your I-140 has been approved and your adjustment of status application has been pending for 180 days or more. Global Account Manager roles typically share enough occupational overlap with similar enterprise sales or client management titles to qualify, but the new employer does not need to file a new PERM.
