Green Card Channel Partner Manager Jobs
Channel Partner Manager roles qualify for EB-2 or EB-3 green card sponsorship when the position requires a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. Employers file a PERM labor certification with the DOL before sponsoring you for permanent residency, making this a path to a green card rather than a temporary work authorization.

Overview
Intuit is building a net-new VAR channel for its mid-market product lineup — QuickBooks Advanced, Intuit Enterprise Suite (IES), and Intuit Services — and this is the role that starts it. As VAR Channel Recruitment Manager, you will own the identification, pursuit, and signing of value-added resellers onto Intuit's commercial partner program. You are a hunter: you work from a target list, you build your own pipeline of prospective partners, and you close.
This is a foundational hire. You will be among the first people building Intuit's VAR motion from the ground up, working in close partnership with the Channel Enablement function to hand off signed partners into a structured on-ramp. Your success is measured in signed partners — and in partners who activate.
You bring deep familiarity with the ERP VAR ecosystem. You know how VARs think about margin, practice investment, and program selection. You have likely recruited partners for a competing program — Sage, Acumatica, NetSuite, or similar — and you understand how to position Intuit's opportunity compellingly against that competitive landscape.
Responsibilities
Partner identification & pipeline development
- Work from Intuit's provided target VAR list to build a prioritized outreach pipeline, segmenting targets by ERP practice focus, customer profile, and strategic fit.
- Supplement the target list with independent market research to identify additional high-potential VAR candidates not yet in Intuit's pipeline.
- Develop and execute outbound recruitment campaigns — direct outreach, industry events, referral channels — to generate interest and create recruitment opportunities at scale.
- Maintain accurate pipeline records in CRM, tracking all prospective partners through each stage of the recruitment funnel.
Partner recruitment & program signing
- Lead all recruitment conversations with prospective VAR partners: initial outreach, discovery, value proposition presentation, program term negotiation, and agreement execution.
- Build compelling, customized business cases for prospective partners that articulate the revenue opportunity, margin structure, and competitive advantage of Intuit's mid-market program versus alternative ERP channel programs.
- Navigate complex multi-stakeholder decisions within prospective partner organizations — principal, practice lead, sales leadership — and drive to a signed agreement.
- Work against a provided target list to sign a defined number of VAR partners in Year 1, with quarterly milestones established at offer stage.
Handoff & activation coordination
- Execute a structured partner handoff to the Channel Enablement function upon signing, ensuring all onboarding context, partner profile data, and commitment documentation is transferred cleanly.
- Maintain a post-signing relationship with partners through the on-ramp period, supporting the Enablement function as needed to accelerate first transaction.
- Share recruitment learnings — objections, competitive positioning, program feedback — with the broader Commercial Partnerships team to continuously improve the program's market positioning.
Market intelligence & program input
- Serve as Intuit's primary intelligence source on the ERP VAR competitive landscape: program structures, incentive models, and partner sentiment toward Sage, Acumatica, NetSuite, and other competing platforms.
- Provide structured feedback to partner program and product teams on the features, terms, and incentives that most influence VAR recruitment decisions.
- Represent Intuit at relevant industry events, VAR community gatherings, and ERP ecosystem forums to build brand awareness and recruitment pipeline.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in channel partner recruitment, channel development, or VAR/reseller program management within a SaaS or enterprise software company; or equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Direct experience recruiting value-added resellers in the ERP ecosystem — Sage, Acumatica, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, SAP Business One, or equivalent.
- Proven track record as a hunter: you have built your own pipeline, run full recruitment cycles, and closed partners against a quota or target.
- Deep understanding of how VARs evaluate channel programs — margin economics, practice investment, training requirements, competitive lock-in, and program support.
- Strong executive presence and negotiation skills: ability to engage credibly with VAR principals and close complex, multi-stakeholder program agreements.
- Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce preferred) and strong pipeline management discipline.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience recruiting VARs for a mid-market ERP or accounting platform targeting the $10M–$150M revenue customer segment.
- Familiarity with Intuit's mid-market product lineup: QuickBooks Advanced, Intuit Enterprise Suite, or competitive equivalents.
- Existing network within the ERP VAR community — relationships with practice leaders, channel consultants, or VAR industry associations.
- Experience working alongside a partner enablement function with a defined recruit-to-activate handoff process.
- Exposure to AI-powered software platforms and the ability to position emerging capabilities (e.g., Intuit Agent Studio) as a differentiator in partner recruitment conversations.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Translate your credentials into PERM language
PERM requires your degree field to align with the job's stated minimum requirements. A business administration or marketing degree maps cleanly to Channel Partner Manager roles; a degree in an unrelated field may require documented equivalency before your employer files.
Target companies with established partner ecosystems
Employers who manage multi-tier reseller or distributor networks are far more likely to have PERM experience than startups without structured channel programs. Technology vendors, SaaS platforms, and enterprise software firms regularly sponsor this role at the EB-3 skilled-worker level.
Search green card sponsoring employers on Migrate Mate
Use Migrate Mate to filter Channel Partner Manager positions by employers with active EB-2 and EB-3 filing history. This cuts the cold outreach phase and connects you directly with companies already navigating the PERM process for similar roles.
Confirm the job description matches PERM requirements
Before accepting an offer, verify the employer's intended job description requires at minimum a bachelor's degree. PERM applications can be denied if the posted role appears to accept candidates without a degree, which disqualifies the EB-2 or EB-3 category entirely.
Flag your EB-2 eligibility if you hold an advanced degree
Channel Partner Manager roles with strategic or national-account scope can qualify under EB-2 when you hold a master's degree or a bachelor's plus five years of progressive experience. Surfacing this early gives your employer's immigration counsel the right filing path from the start.
Understand DOL prevailing wage before negotiating
PERM locks your offered salary to the DOL prevailing wage for the role and location. Use the OFLC Wage Search before your offer stage to know the wage level your employer must certify, so the final offer satisfies both PERM rules and your actual compensation expectations.
Green Card Channel Partner Manager: Frequently Asked Questions
Does a Channel Partner Manager role qualify for EB-2 or EB-3 green card sponsorship?
Channel Partner Manager positions typically qualify under EB-3 as skilled workers when the role requires a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. If the role requires an advanced degree or you have a master's degree plus specialized experience in partner strategy, EB-2 may apply. Your employer's immigration counsel determines the appropriate category based on the specific job requirements.
How does green card sponsorship differ from H-1B sponsorship for this role?
Green card sponsorship through PERM leads to permanent residency, not a temporary work authorization with an expiration date. Unlike the H-1B visa, there's no annual lottery for EB-3 petitions, and most nationalities outside of India and China face relatively short wait times in the EB-3 queue. The tradeoff is timeline: PERM labor certification, I-140 approval, and adjustment of status can take two to three years from start to finish.
What does the PERM labor certification process require from a Channel Partner Manager employer?
The employer must conduct a DOL-supervised recruitment process to demonstrate no qualified U.S. worker is available for the role. This includes posting the job with specific minimum requirements, documenting all applicants reviewed, and filing the ETA-9089 with DOL. The job description must reflect the actual minimum qualifications, and the offered salary must meet the prevailing wage determined through the OFLC wage system.
Where can I find Channel Partner Manager jobs that offer green card sponsorship?
Migrate Mate lets you search Channel Partner Manager roles filtered by employers with EB-2 and EB-3 green card filing history. This removes the guesswork of cold outreach and surfaces companies already running PERM cases for similar positions, which significantly reduces the time between job search and a sponsorship-ready offer.
Can I switch employers after my PERM is filed without losing my place in the green card process?
Once your I-140 petition is approved and you've held that priority date for at least 180 days, AC21 portability allows you to change to a same or similar role without restarting the process. Channel Partner Manager and related partner or alliance roles within the same SOC code family generally qualify as similar enough for portability, but confirm this with an immigration attorney before accepting a new offer.
