ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
As an Identity Advisor, you serve as the strategic technical consultant during the pre-sales phase, specializing in Access Management (AM) and Consumer Identity (CIAM). You will bridge the gap between sales and engineering by conducting deep-dive technical discoveries and designing programmatic architectures that solve complex client challenges. This role is essential for uncovering new opportunities through technology workshops and ensuring that proposed solutions are both technically sound and aligned with modern security frameworks like Zero Trust.
- Work in partnership with the IDMWORKS field sales organization to assist in the technical discovery and solution development for prospective clients for Access Management Pursuits
- Act as a Liaison between IDMWORKS Sales, Technical PreSales, Advisory, and Practice Leadership teams
- Engage in requirements gathering, analyze business processes, and provide recommendations and proposed solutions to clients
- Participate in technology assessments and technology workshops to uncover new opportunities for IDMWORKS solutions
- Participate in presales demos and POCs of vendor Solutions
- Contribute to RFP responses
- Contribute to IDMWORKS Proposal and SOW documents
- Participate in the creation and improvement of new/existing IDMWORKS client facing sales and marketing materials
- Work in partnership with the Director of Technical Solutions team to develop programmatic architecture and solution design across multiple IAM technologies and functional areas to address prospective client’s technical requirements
- Remain current on IAM and IAM market trends, tools, methodologies, and best practices
- Participate in Customer facing presales workshops and assessments
- Communicate status including timely reporting and escalation of issues and risks
- Possess excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
- Ability to work in a team setting and multi-task environment
- Author technical and sales documentation
- Perform other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience:
- Knowledge and hands-on experience with the following IAM components: Access Management, Consumer Identity and Access Management, SSO/Federation, & Enterprise Directories
- 3+ year of experience with IAM implementation/architecture
- 4+ years of experience in security consulting, security administration, and/or information technology
- Knowledge of Access Management
- Knowledge of SSO/Federation
- Knowledge of enterprise directories (LDAP, Active Directory, etc.)
- Familiarity of enterprise systems (SAP, PeopleSoft, Workday, ServiceNow)
- Experience setting up and installing software on Windows and Unix platforms
- Familiarity with Role Based Access Control (RBAC)
- Familiarity with security/compliance standards, frameworks, and concepts (NIST, SOX, GDPR, Zero trust, etc.)
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in an IT-related field or Experience in a related Position
- IAM Technology-specific training/certification a plus
- CISSP Certification a plus
Travel: Up to 50%
