Logistics Manager Green Card Jobs
Logistics Manager roles qualify for EB-2 and EB-3 green card sponsorship through the PERM labor certification process, which permanently ties your status to the employer rather than a temporary visa cycle. Supply chain and operations management positions at mid-size and large distributors, manufacturers, and 3PL providers regularly sponsor foreign professionals for lawful permanent residency.

Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Green Card Sponsorship as a Logistics Manager
Document your supply chain credentials precisely
PERM requires the employer to define minimum qualifications before advertising the role. Pull your logistics certifications, degree transcripts, and systems experience together now so the job description can be written around your actual background without overstating it.
Target manufacturers and 3PL providers with PERM history
Freight forwarding, third-party logistics, and large-scale distribution companies run recurring PERM cycles for Logistics Manager roles. Filtering your search to employers with active PERM filings puts you in front of the organizations already set up to sponsor.
Search green card sponsoring employers on Migrate Mate
Migrate Mate lets you filter Logistics Manager openings by employers with green card sponsorship history, cutting out the back-and-forth with companies that have never run a PERM case and don't know where to start.
Understand how EB-2 and EB-3 apply to your profile
EB-3 covers skilled workers with a bachelor's degree, while EB-2 is for advanced-degree professionals or EB-2-eligible candidates with demonstrated specialized expertise. Your category affects the I-140 filing strategy your employer's attorney will recommend.
Negotiate PERM filing into your offer terms
Before signing, confirm in writing that the employer will initiate PERM within a defined timeframe, typically within the first year of employment. Logistics roles at companies with high turnover sometimes delay filing, which resets your priority date.
Use the OFLC Wage Search to benchmark your prevailing wage
DOL sets the prevailing wage for your specific Logistics Manager SOC code and worksite location before the PERM application can proceed. Running the OFLC Wage Search yourself lets you verify the employer's wage determination matches your actual duties and geography.

Find Logistics Manager JobsLogistics Manager Green Card Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Do Logistics Manager roles commonly qualify for EB-2 or EB-3 sponsorship?
Logistics Manager positions typically qualify under EB-3 when the role requires a bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, or a related field. If the position requires an advanced degree or the candidate has EB-2-eligible credentials with specialized expertise in areas like global trade compliance or large-scale distribution systems, EB-2 may apply. The employer's attorney structures the job description to match the correct category before PERM advertising begins.
How does PERM green card sponsorship differ from H-1B for a Logistics Manager?
H-1B is a temporary nonimmigrant status capped at 85,000 new visas annually and subject to a lottery for most applicants. PERM-based EB-3 sponsorship has no annual cap at the petition level and leads to permanent residency rather than a renewable work authorization cycle. The tradeoff is timeline: PERM labor certification, I-140, and adjustment of status can take two to four years or more depending on your country of birth and USCIS processing backlogs.
Which employers regularly sponsor Logistics Manager roles for green cards?
Third-party logistics providers, large manufacturers, e-commerce fulfillment operations, and global freight companies run the most consistent PERM cycles for Logistics Manager positions. These organizations have established immigration counsel and repeat filing processes. Use Migrate Mate to search specifically for Logistics Manager openings at employers with documented green card sponsorship history, which removes the uncertainty of approaching companies unfamiliar with PERM.
What does the PERM labor certification process look like for this role?
The employer files a prevailing wage request with DOL's OFLC, then runs a mandatory recruitment campaign advertising the Logistics Manager role to U.S. workers. If no qualified U.S. applicants are found, the employer submits the ETA Form 9089 to DOL. Analyst review at OFLC is currently the longest stage, averaging several months to over a year. Once PERM is certified, the employer files the I-140 petition with USCIS to formally establish your immigrant visa preference.
Can I switch employers after my green card case is filed?
Job portability under AC21 allows you to change to a same or similar Logistics Manager or supply chain role after your I-485 adjustment of status application has been pending for at least 180 days and your I-140 is approved. The new role must be in the same occupational classification. USCIS evaluates whether the positions are substantially similar based on duties, not job title, so keeping documentation of your responsibilities at both employers is important.
